T.HL MEET 09

Hi every one

Well after the stress of organizing this meet, I would like to say that it went well! :victory:

All arrived safely and well, then the fun began. Not a lot of pics as I had forgot my video camera :wallbash:

so was limited to my phone camera.

So I tink mike has a lot of pics for the post.

We set up a zero range for the invited to have a plink & a bit of fun, :gunsmilie:

“A Rob & Harvey†reducer, reset ECT….

when we weren’t hunting.

We did some lamping and some day shooting with a small return of rabbits which the

.22 team WON!! Must say my team, :toast::whistling::big_boss:

Then we had a relaxed drink and banter! Round the camp fire, :drink::drink::drink:

I had supplied some venison, pheasant, which mike with his secret spices added and mmmmmmmmmm

Then we had some sushi venison which wasn’t to every ones taste but still nice.

And Sunday morning I had a friend come up with his bird of prey ,to give us a little look at it that was good thanks frank.

SPECIAL TANKS!!

To the chef & knife sharpening service mike done and to rob for the pellets,& Harvey for the kebab run and

All the lads & lady, who came, would just like to say thank you and it was nice meeting you all, and hope we can do this again! And if you took any pics please add to the thread & a tale

I have not sorted through all of the pictures that I have taken but here are just a few.

Our specialist team hiding the range markers in the grass.

How many id.... errrmmm people does it take to put up a tent??

P8290009.jpg

Excuse the smoke folks but we had to get rid of all the rubbish somehow before the BBQ :)

P8290012.jpg

A discussion was going on here weather the meat on the BBQ would taste any better if we burnt one of the HW 100 s or just carry on with the other rubbish.

I'll sort out some more Photos and footage later, all I can say is that it was a good tome spent with some good people and it was nice to put some faces to the names.

I am happy to report that we can now after conducting a number of tests put this whole thing about the .22 versus .177 and AA v. HW to bed as well.

Hang on a minute what are we going to bicker about on the forum ............. nope I'll keep that one to myself. But I will say that a 410 in .22 is better at killing magners cans at medium ranges then most other ways of doing it. At close ranges I still prefer to just neck em. ;)
