OldTrapCollector 377
A couple of other thoughts to add to your brew witterings ... Apparently squeezing the teabag adds more tannin to your tea cup, adding a bitter after taste And I also remember being told that the triangle bags were a result of a malfunction in the 'normal' teabag producttion line, it was not an intentional plan. The result gave off more tea taste than anything they had so far achieved in the lab, including the round ones. OTC

kennyboy 1
I am curious as to the best way to get a flavorsome cup of tea without waiting ages and I am specifically refering to the tea bag in a mug way of brewing the tea. Until this morning I have always gone for the sink and 'squash against the mg with my spoon' method. This morning I tried the 'leave floating with air in the bag' method and I think my tea was ready more quickly. Anyway, being already into the 'zone of senior moments' I wondered if other people had found this to be the case? Also, are pyramid bags better than other shapes and can one bag really make two cups of tea. Lastly, is anyone aware of any illness that may be diagnosed by a sudden urge to drink tea? I'm off for another cup and I hope to have some answers by the time I get back. ATB Michael 1.Put teabag in cup and add boiling water. 2.Let tea infuse. 1 min for weak tea, longer for personal taste. 3.Stir cup gently then remove teabag. 4.Add milk and honey, not sugar, to taste. 5.Brilliant!!! Btw pyramid teabags are a gimmick. Make no difference to flavour whatsoever.
