davyt63 1,845 Posted May 30, 2009 Report Share Posted May 30, 2009 hi every one got up early this morning to drop me van of for M.O.T ,and while i was waiting for the garage to ring me i decided to bait some more magpies.i got the first one in about 20 minutes after putting the bait out, then another about an hour later. here is some pics this is the most cozy sniping position i got lol 1st one 2nd one, good job i closed the dog dropping loo otherwise it would of reallt been in the shit lol thats 3 down 12 to go there just every where round my way then this afternoon i popped to the business park today for a couple of hours, and done a bit drive by rabbiting lol.most were from 25yds to 35 yds, except the last one which i got out and had a look arond the balancing pond.and just as i looked over the brow of the small hill i spotted 5 bunnies, ranging from 30 to 45 yds but only had a clear shot on the 2nd furthest away from me.so had to do a bit of crawling and settled in the prone position controled my breathing and sent a .177 aafield to it THWACK!! it went straight over stone dead. i went to recover it and paced it out 43yds well chuffed. the .177 is growing! on me all the time, i take it out! here is some pics 35yds 30yds 25yds 15yds 43yds group photo, all bunnies were taken with HW100KT .177 i am also doing a dawn raid in oxfordshire sunday, so will keep you posted HAPPY HUNTING DAVY PS will report in from the field today Quote Link to post
