food for a nursing jill?

My jill had her litter of 10 (one dead) last week.

She is doing OK as are the kits.

She is getting meat etc at night, which is removed in the morning to keep the flys away!

I make sure shes got dry food to nibble on all day and plenty of water.

We all know that jills get dragged down with a litter what do you all do to help supplement their diet?

exactly, fresh meat has all the supplements in already, no need for shop bought stuff, as for cat biscuit , its a ferret, buy ferret biscuit

Same here meat and more meat a young rabbits a handy size for a jill with kitts and as they get bigger just increase the size of the rabbit

Fresh meat plenty of water and dry fert food.

Its what I have always done just wondered if anyone did different!

Plenty of fresh meat never given a ferret vitamins & dont feel they need anything if they get good quality meat
