  1. Jingle Bells at Christmas Dog Show. Dessie Mackins Christmas Dog Show will be held on Saturday 21st December 13. at Halls Mill Pub Car Park on the Gilford, Banbridge Road, Co Down. It doesent matter if there is Wind Rain or Snow, Dessie will be there. Bring along your faithful Canine friends for a great days showing and a little festive cheer in the pub afterwards.   11. The History Of The Whippet The Whippet is a breed of dog in the sighthound family. They are active and playful and are physically similar to a small greyhound. Appearance Whippets are a medium-size dog averaging in weight from 25 to 40 lb (11–18 kg), with height of 18.5 - 20 inches (47 - 51 cm) for males and 17.5–18.5 inches (44–47 cm) for females.. they come in a wide variety of colours and marking patterns, everything from solid black to solid white, with red, fawn, brindle, blue, or cream. All manner of spots and blazes and patches are seen, sometimes all in the same litter.

  17. have to say not a bad show but was more for terriers than lurchers there was a lurcher in pups that won was in 3 more classes and got prizes if its a pup it stays as a pup lad cant be in a workin class still a pup

  20. The Sporting Whippet Club and Race day at Dunsilly Co Antrim, Sunday 15th September 13. Sunday 15th September 13 was the last Whippet show of 2013 for the Sporting Whippet Club of NI and the first two qualifiers for the Five Nations Whippet Championship. The Trophy for Thomas Mc Cormack on the 8th of September is not related in any way with the fund raiser we are planning in the near future for Thomas family with kind permission from Tommy senior.
