injectors seals were replaced and she's up and away

I wish you had been on last night ian, its in the garage now and he could tell anything and id believe him, wouldn't know where to look for the crank position sensor Jamie, having said that it wouldn't start once before at a filling station, I assumed it had ran out just as I got there as it wouldn't start after id filled it, and a bloke said something about a crank sensor, anyhow I pumped it five times and put into bleed mode for a couple of minutes and she fired, i'll keep yous inform of what he says, cheers

got it to a landrover garage, said it could be injectors, cylinder head, fuel pump housing, gonna get it on a computer in the morning as see whats up,cheers folks
-
so your saying if I spray some carb cleaner in the air intake it'll fire up??
-
I didn't fill the filter, but pumped the throttle 5 times which then puts it into bleed mode, and the engine management light comes on, it then pumps for 30secs then stops pumping for 5secs, and does this cycle 6 times, after its done it 6 times the engine management light goes out and the pump stops pumping, indicating that the system is fully pressurised, so if theres fuel getting to the engine then surely the filter is obviously full as it sits behind the drivers side rear wheel,am I right in thinking this?. the landrover bloke I spoke to said I couldn't crack the injectors, then said some

not sure about the injectors, im not really mechanically minded to be honest, where will the ecu plug be? theres an electrical plug right beside the feed pipe level with the inlet manifold, will that be it? I was also thinking if theres fuel getting to the engine will the fault not be electrical.is there not a reset switch or something similar, as I say I know naff all about engines

Friday night out lamping and the disco stopped and wouldn't start, now I run mine on 100%biodiesel, so I assumed it would be the filter as ive put a few hundred litres thru but never changed the filter, next morning new filter purchased (£15)and fitted but still no joy, so I rang the landrover specialist I got it off and he suggested it would be the gauze filter at the bottom of the in tank pump, so I removed the pump and rightly enough it was bunged up with gunge, spent a while cleaning it re-fitted it ,went thru the self bleed process but still wouldn't start, he then informed me the pumps p

What Your Favorite Terrier For Ratting?
hairyface replied to EnglishBulldog's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
had some good days on the rats, out of all the 8 terriers we've had between us the best by far was my plummer dog, here, there, everywhere, would find when others couldn't and was always in the right place at the right time, his son was lazy in comparison if a rat came within a metre it was dead and dead quicker than his sire could kill it, but if it was more than a metre away it got away coz he just wouldn't try, ha, and had a very poor nose for finding, but he was an accident as apposed to planned mating, his dam was a tottery 11yr old Russell when my 6month old plummer took advantage, lol. -
well them replies are encouraging, was just abit miffed as to why there was a "cheaper version", ive sent another email and i'll give them a buzz tomorrow, cheers fellas.

anyone had any dealings with bridport nets in dorset, they had an advert in the countrymans weekly on 19/06/2013 and they were advertising traps. double ended mink traps at£17 and rabbit/feral cat traps at £24. but when I went on there website the mink trap was £24 and the feral cat was £32, I assumed that was due to p&p and vat but when I went to order them they added £8.50 p&p on to it, so I sent them an email asking why they were dearer on the website than the counrtymans and they replied with this. "The traps advertised in the Countrymans Weekly are cheaper versions of those on
