Not the best time of year really but im looking for a bitch pup. Not bothered by what type aslong as its from good honest digging stock. The pup i was getting unfortunatly died and i was offered a dog instead by a good bloke from the fourms, but i can only keep bitches at home. Sensible prices and preferably down south somewhere.
Cheers!

I have been working on a family of 3 local to me recently. Spent 2 hours following this bitch and her 2 youngsters hunting up and down stream. It made the 0445 start worth while.

I have the rest of the decent photos in an album on my flickr called 'wild dorset otters'

Lots of big reds in the new forest and over poole/bournemouth way
Certainly aint no wild reds in the Poole area

You want to see some deer you want to get youself down my way by poole harbour. Shine a lamp in some fields around here and its like looking at a field of sheep there are that many. Get some cracking white stags aswell.

wouuld have been a sika around your area. You see them quite regular feeding right by the side of the dual carrage way as you get to Dorchester. Where abouts were the goshawks?! Ive only heard of them being around the new forest way

nice, im very envious of you oldnog. I took the FGASA (field guide association of southern africa) level one course in south africa, last year, just out side of kruger it was great fun, plenty to point a camera at over there. Where are you heading?
ATB
Thats the course my mate did, he did his level 2 though and is working on his level 3 i think. We are going to spend the first week or so traveling around the farms he runs his photography coruses from, mainly around the waterberg area and hoedspruit. He knows some people that will let us shoot some baboons which are pretty much taking over the farm and for a few rand shoot an impala. The last part we are renting a lodge in Marloth Park right along side Crocodile river and spending alot of time in and around Kruger.
I literally cannot wait. When i met my mate he hand not long nmoved here from Zimbabwe and told me i would end up going to africa with him at some point and he wasnt wrong haha

Im off to South Africa for 3 weeks in september. My best mate isa fulled trained guide and runs his own wildlife photography business out there, so i get the whole 'safari' experience away from the tourist trail and also visiting a few places that arent open to the public such as a nursery for orphaned lion cubs. Plenty of time for photography, fishing and a bit of shooitng.
Nice pics!

Took these photos of a roe buck on the shoot my brother is the keeper on. I had to stalk about 200yrds down a noisey stoney track, then crawl on my belly for 50 odd yrds to get that bit closer. He realised something wasnt right so bolted into the field about 30yrds. He then started barking and trying to scent me, but couldnt as the wind was in my favor so started walking closer until he had enough and slowly trotted off. Whilst stalking him a hare ran towards me and a sparrowhawk flew right over me aswell!
No adjusting just straight from the camera.

Iv been trying to get some good snaps of a nice roe buck i manged to photograph a few weeks ago, and this evening i managed to get close enough for a few decent snaps. Had to belly craw for about 50yards again....got within 30 yards and they got a bit jumpy and ran off another 40 yeards or so. With a bit more crawling i got close enough again.
Still new to photoagraphy and my camera so im sure they could be a lot better.
