    you can leev it natural if you wan but oil brings out thegrain better so it looks nice that's all and as for varnish it is optional

    if you go out in your local wood and look for a good natural there are as good as anything and you can buy the bands off of ebay you wand double thera band gold cut from 20 mm to 15 mm for hunting
