    Am in Flintshire mate, went out thismirning to walk the dogs and the roof had been pushed up off the shed and they had reached in!

    It's big fields with small pockets of wood were I hunt so it will be fine either way, was wondering more about the pace of them?

    Got myself a new lurcher pup sire 1/4 bull 3/4 greyhound 28 inch. dam foxhound 25 inch racey looking both parents top grafters and have many years under there belts. Anyone had experience with them?? Not has a opinion on them you can keep them I don't care for them hunting/working dog knowledge isn't based by how many posts you've made on here, I mean HAD ACTUAL EXPERIENCE be it with your own dogs or a friends.

    I've struggled to get used to the hid light, it's a lot brighter too bright in my opinion and like the others have said very white. I going to stay with standard lamps myself

    On there own for me, knowing the land,walking up squatters and easy slips to build confidence and understand what the beams for.

    Whistles just complicate things in my opinion I use a noises I make myself, obviously use some words there name and come here, but I also use noises for find him like a "fssssssssssst", another for I've found him come get him "yayayayayaya" haha people must think I'm mad!!! I prefere the dogs to think for them selfs and hunt 20/30 yards in front of me so it's only when I've seen something myself or no there's something about I have to break silence.

    800g of mince in tesco £2.50 mixed with a good dry complete food

    Wouldn't personally feed just red mills, but think it's great as a base to a feed mixed with raw meat

    Slow and steady is best, dogs digest food really fast so if you feed 4 small meals rather than one big one the exact same size they would process more of the nutrition out of the food. I feed morning and afternoon and it suits my dogs fine, if out lamping they miss the afternoon feed and have it when they get in
