he's very quick mate considering he's half pitt bull,he'll catch the odd daytime hare,and he would catch 20/30 rabbits easy but i dont go rabbiting that much to test his stamina.the best thing about him he's very tight behind stuff.he stands 26@ the shoulder

weather crap for lamping so got up and had a days beating,done first bit no fox so i slipped remus on a deer that had got back past the beaters and jumped out behind them,he had a long run to get on to it but he did well and after a good course caught it before it got back into the wood.no joy at a few other places but the last place just as it was starting to get dark my mate slipped on a fox,his dog did well and killed it.a good day and farmer very happy.

they are wrecking my back garden.

these are my 2 pups out of the same parents as remus my 1st cross bull grey.they are 12 weeks old,i'm guessing they'll make about 26/27 ' the shoulder.

its just a case of being careful what ever type of hunting you do.thats the way it is and we cant do nothing about it.

: Half bull, exactly!! what would they have to grip onto if the collar wasn't there... collars allow your quarry to get a purchase... I'm not saying they don't help in certain circumstances, just that they could hinder and cause problems in other ways...... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> they would get old of the dogs neck mate if the collar was'nt there.i would rather have a hole in the dogs collar than its throat,i'm not saying it helps every time they catch a fox but i've had lurchers kill a fox and recieve no punishment off the fox, because the fox as had hold of the dog

] Good posts lads, I'm not knocking anyone, just asking!!! bites on collars are proof that they do the dog no favours though... gives the lil red feckers something to grip on to... ] where would they grip onto if they did'nt have old of the dogs collar,i seen a lurcher get its wind pipe crushed by 1 of them other things,this dog did'nt have a collar on,would it be still alive today if it had been wearing a collar?
