I had accidental mateing years ago between bro / sis found out when bitch was showing vet said they would be fine and they were these were cockers all made great workers funny thing was I never knew the bitch was in season no show or nothing but dog knew . atb two crows

pups compete for food. from day one there after the best tit and the lions share stroke him carefully while feeding him from his bowl he will soon know he is keeping his meal. and keep your food well away.atb two crows

funny how some colly crosses look to have some saluki in. she is an absolute bute lea. and love the feet atb two crows.

to be fair if you cross these back in to the line they throw pretty mutch true to type. all most like a pure breed. atb two crows.

a mate of mine had a good old fashiond lurcher allot collie in him he started me lamping in the 80s never had one but liked old gyp good photose atb two crows.

I went to feed my birds one morning driving round a bend behind a cover crop and straight in front about a dozen cows now this prompted one or two phone calls to find out where the f**k they were from turns out they were two farms from home been let out by idiots with running dogs also seen doing donuts on crops and police called any way got them back in( cows that is) then found out police were after me ( I WAS NOT COUGHT and I was not even trying to get away) turns out it was a red Isuzu and I had a red truck shows how useless police are. I all ways front lads up (day time in my area) and have never had any bother no matter how many couse I talk to people properly I never cought any one driving crops though atb two crows.

dogs have done nothing for me finance wise I have only bred pups when ive wanted one and never made a bean but coursing dog or spaniel they have enriched my life no end the other day we were in a lovely wood working the dogs in the sunshine and they want to pay us how good is that. but I would do it for nowt cos its the sport all the way for me 45 years worth atb two crows

I have ran hares on lamp. that must be 20 years back ore more I cought plenty with good day dogs but missed lots two there not easy. atb two crows.

your dead right Wirral a good hare is a test for any dog. however greyhounds will not tell any one if a hare is any good or not .the odd freek crops up but most greyhounds don't have the stamina to test a hare. good ore bad at any time of day. and double handed running does not test a dog either . you don't see any boxing ore any of the skills a good dog will posses. sorry if I have gone off post . atb two crows.

I remember must be 40 years back a mates granddad telling us to go first light as they were easier to catch he was a traveler and a pot hunter not realy a courser . but he was right as I have noticed in my 40 odd years with saluki crosses. all the best two crows.

these topics always make fore good reading I agree with so much of whats been said I to have had a pure saluki that would do anything but lurcher wise a bull cross x sal cross unless it was a very naturally gifted individual would never cut the mustard likewise a collie cross x bull cross I personally don't think a bull x adds anything to a general lurcher I am a died in the wool sal cross man but I would go for a line bred worker to worker every time they will do anything accepting a proper winter hare so forget those and you should be ok cheers two crows.

two smooth saluki crosses can throw feathered pups so if nippers in there why not a roughen. however when we bred sal crosses with beddy whippet in all mine were smooth these were 1970 ish don't know if crosses after that threw rough suppose if other dog used was same way bred might do. mine went back to saluki so they did not regards two crows.

hi mate some times if not done right they can grow back. never happened when ive done lurcher pups but happened when the vet did some spaniels for me [he did tails that why vet did it] but he did put it right. regards two crows

jigsaw your on the right wavelength most dog men who fail with saluki crosses are not regardless of the bond they have with the dog but it is always the dog that gets rubbished? as said before keep it simple regards two crows.

some people saying big money is ok might be trying to justify paying it. I would not pay big money. even so I still think the best blood gives the best man the best chance. and that's not to say he still does not get trough a few to get a gooden . regards two crows.

I bred some of these 20 years ago from a realy good first cross bitch I bred myself to a very good track dog they could kill a hare very quick but weren't worth a wank realy the three quarter salls bred from same bitch 5out5. atb two crows.
