Cheers mate I'm absolutely over the moon with her . Got four days at the end of the season to do a bit of rough shooting over her looking forward to that . It seems every task I put in front of her she does and thrives off it .

I did pull off some good shots actually ha . My mate was with me too with his dog . My bitch is still in training but coming on great well happy with her at the min .

Just an update on my imported drahthaar (gwp) . She's now 17 month and doing really well . She's been picking up well and really steady to the shot . Great to watch her out in the field when she gets wind looks really classy . She can really cover the ground too . She's holding a good point now I'll get some videos up . Her water works impressed me from day one totally fearless . She's been out on a few duck flights this season and she's getting steadier and steadier every time we go out .

Good night tonight . Been hard work with ploughing and lampers . But perseverance had paid of . Ended up with a a bag of 15 mallard and wigeon . See one teal but as we walked of a five and a two came in . Hopefully get one more good night on this splash before end of season .

I was going to put a hide up on my splash Les but there was a lad on the shoot that thought he could just do what he wanted and didn't want him knowing I was feeding the splash . I fed this other place up for 5 week and he went and shot it before me because he see me feeding it . That pissed me off . He's been kicked off now though . So maybe next year .

Ha ha I know I'm next to the Humber . The only trouble is all the other idiots that go . That's why we go up Montrose Eden etc . We've had some good days on the pinks . That's one good thing about the sugar beat . Pinks will love that next year .

Spot on on our land they've just rented it out to sugar beat farmer . Messed our season up ploughing through the night . Had a really good do at the beginning . Then average to shite . Hopefully get one more good night in as they've stopped ploughing . Been finding it hard to get on the ducks this year with the weather by us .

Good info bell . When people say a bucket to 100 ducks how longs this for ? . Zfall ive been using game bore super steel 32 gram 5's been doing really well will them been shooting them through a Winchester sx3 and a beretta ulrika .

I wouldn't go to early 20 mins before . If I was you I'd go up with no gun stay out the way enough so you can see pond but they can't see you . And have a look at what time there coming in and where there coming from . Then it will give you a rough time and a guide to where to stand .

I have four spots so rotate them obviously every four week . I know a few people who have a splash or pond and shoot once every two week . There isn't no such rule . We went to one of ours the other week we ended up with 18 duck . Between two of us . We could of stayed and carried on but called it a day . We both had some decent shooting so let the rest live for another day .

The only way to see how many are there is by watching them . When you spooked them was it dark ? . Best weather wet and windy . If I was you I'd shot it at the weekend then again at end of season . Should have two good flights .

It will do not long left now. It at least you can get set up for next year . Put a couple of hides up if your allowed .
