  1. was also more talk today about the 5 general purpose light frigates, maybe more, that would " probably" be built on the clyde keeping jobs past the next decade.. the point is, it was stated many times only the union could guarantee jobs on the clyde, that doesnt look the case at the moment
  2. 13 frigates, now down to 8, the designs only about 60% complete.. means an extension to life of old ones costing £££ extra and big delay risking more jobs on the clyde?
  3. this was the vid i was looking for the other day, if only they said that before the indy ref.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RG-66247-ic Joe, Joe, Joe...... You can carry on spamming as many clips as you like, but here's the rub. If SNP had won the first referendum, you would have left the UK (and, therefore, all the institutions of which the UK is member, including the EU). Now, the SNP wants another referendum, to try to remain a part of the organisation that they would have been forced to leave, had they won first time around. Which is it, mate, because Wee Jim
  4. you mean the financial and tech problems? i dont have all the answers lads, if only... only asked what thoughts were if yous were to vote again lol
  5. would they have said that pre indy ref in 2014, wasnt oil such a burden For ever £1 you get £20 back? Thats because you are part of the UK and benefit from all that brings, do you honestly think you will get that level of investment from the EU IF YOU WERE AN INDEPENDENT COUNTRY? Spain and France have already rejected any idea of EU negotiation with an independent Scotland so where does that leave you? Come on man you are cleverer than this bullshit...If you go independent (and let me say this time if thats what the Scottish people want then off you go) and by some miracle Scotl
  6. take it yours was the crew cab 4wd? this isnt the crew cab verson, think its 2wd 2003 tl2 tdi
  7. this was the vid i was looking for the other day, if only they said that before the indy ref..
  8. dont you remember, one of the failed promises of the 2014 indy ref, 13 type 26 frigates would be built on the clyde if scotland voted no? there was a recent expansion on the clyde, it was down to the snp not westminster or the eu.. i am worried about the effect leaving the eu will have on scottish agriculture, these guys provide more information than i do:
  9. The union, am not anti english as a few non scots believe we are, though i do enjoy the rivalry.
  10. I joined THL a few years ago with an interest in ferreting, looking for advice and help.. Frozen bottles is a good one, much shade around the hutch as possible when its to hot.
  11. Doesnt quite make sense mate Rubbish, scotland would be the only country in the modern world to have debt etc etc? Just look at the state of the uk right now, and most of the modern world except norway It was agrued many times before, the state of the nhs in scotland is alot better than it is down south.. SNP have played a big part in this, how scotland have managed to pay for that stuff you mentioned has been answered many times mate It will happen one day, many other nations have managed it, scotland and ireland will one day No euro matey, just my opi
  12. ^^ heard that somewhere else mate, also just before: hasnt the german vice chancellor already confirmed how scotland is able to remain in the eu

  16. I think it will be cheaper, trying to cut cost any way possible
  17. theres still alot to happen, alot of ifs, there is talks of the finance sector moving from london to edinburgh (or dublin) as it already has the making of a big financial hub.. i was just pointing out it wasnt as bad as the previous member made out... lies, years of waste, poor management and thought of whats to come, id prefer the chance to take a different path
  18. your baiting lol have to see how it unfolds mate, its said that an Iscotland would only need a majory to gain eu membership, and if we can gain independence in the time it takes the uk to leave, we could take the wheel.. oil is scotlands, no doubt about, the price will rise again, and with massive investment already theres more to gain, isnt the north sea where 60% of the eus reserves edit:added correct one oil isnt the future though, renewables are. scotland gets nearly 60% of its energy from renewables, cuts from westminster look to threaten the 100% goal.. scotland produ
  19. I know it was done to death on these forums not long ago, some good debate and some crap.. With the EU referendum result, support for another indyref grows, and although the scottish gov havnt said so... You get the feeling its only matter of time.. Plans for a new currency are underway, many previous no voters saying they would vote yes.. How would you vote this time? Am still yes
