Your not wrong bowderdale.one of my brothers who turned to the dark side. (rifle shooting) has had 16 foxes 4nights lamping. Round the west coast area. Luckily I don't hunt that area and the fat c**t won't get out of jeep and walk the fells. So there be something to hunt up there.
Sounds like most rifle men

Cheers, D.
It’s one of many in the collection from the old boy.

I am a quad instructor and only taught a course last week.
We teach about 40 lessons on quad from basic maintenance to escalation of driving aids , body positions , failed ascents etc the list is endless
rightvat the start of the course I take the lads out onto our airfield and line them up and we all gun it the full 3km of the airstrip at max speed .
I find 99.9 %of lads when they get on they want to rag the f**k so to I get that out the way and they concentrate more afterwards rather than trying to be all sf
we use Yamaha grizzly 450 petrols with a logic trailer.
A mega tool for the job we need it to do
but sometimes I can’t believe people can just get on and rag them all over without any type of training
I was sent on a atv coarse so I could drive them on sites. It was a good bit of education but if I went by the rules of what we were taught I wouldn’t be able to drive anywhere on my farm.
I don’t know what firm you work for but the coarse I went on was at a dealership and to be honest, the whole day was basically a sales pitch to try and sell me a crappy Can Am quad.
Good to to see your using decent quads for your lessons.

My pal had made the fatal mistake of forgetting his quad was in 2 wheel drive coming down a steep bank and touched the brakes. His wheels locked up, bike started sliding so he jumped off and it proceeded to fly down the bank and into a gill writing it off.
Luckily the only thing damaged and bruised is his ego so he will be getting a bit of stick about it over the next few weeks.
Heres the outcome of said accident
has anybody else had any accidents on there quads, preferably funny story’s rather than tragic?

Well, I’ve got a load of grass cut to get baled into some nice June hay in a few days so in the meantime me, my pal and his lad ventured out on the quad for a night under the stars.
It was a real good night for it so I didn’t even bring my tent I just slept on the mat in my sleeping bag, my pal was in his tent and we converted the quad trailer in to a caravan for his lad to sleep in.
Feel free to add your camping trips
thanks for looking.

Working up here near Carlisle, not a bad place tbh. Doesn't seem overrun by the Taliban yet and the scenery is very decent.
Worst thing about Carlisle is the locals

More like farmers. If they saw the damage feral dogs do here to stock and not just sheep,I reckon a wolf pack would take down cattle easily and also would take humans if hungry as have coyote on occasion, even dingoes esp on fraser island here where they lost the fear of humans.
Is it true that the dingos have been mating with feral dogs and it’s there offspring that have no human fear?

I know there were 6 lynx realised up in the lakes around 2015-2016 to see how reintroducein them to the country went
I don’t think there was ever any lynx reintroduced into the lakes...

Nice. There’s a couple otters that reside close to me and feed in the stocked tarn in front of my house, I’m yet to capture them on film though.
