  1. Thanks for the advice on the coat, I'll hang on and see what comes, there's always next summer! For the collar, I'd stick to pet shop cheapies until the pup is a bit older, then I can make you one with plenty of growing room and an elastic loop to stop the spare collar flapping everywhere. Of course the fella in the photos has had a few collars already
  2. no animal needs to suffer I didn't say they did No matter what anyone says or does, that video is of an event that is past, it's gone. So I care about the things I can do something about. That was my point.
  3. No bravado here, I have no feelings for those pigs either way, nor do I particularly care what happens to them in another country that I have no control over or responsibility for. Damage our sport? Bit late for that! Damage it even more then, makes sence. SS you are a truley hard man. What's up with you now, weirdo? How can what some slitty eyes do to some pigs affect hunting in the UK? You're not right you. Insults so soon SS Its what is written on hunting forums in the UK that will fuel anti hunt protesters. Theres nothing wrong with me ourk, simply s

  6. You'll be surprised at the tiny amount of light it needs to get eyes to shine. I had the striker variable, excellent lamp.

  8. Haven't stripped him much, got given a comb last week and have been over him but not much coming off, was going to wait until someone I know can show me before I mess it up His coat is only "fluffy" yet, didn't want him to have a bad experience with the comb and be a twat for the rest of his days!

  14. Thats a long time ................Tell me, did the summer of love hurt by any chance??........... 23yrs without a drink, would it bring back bad memories if you had one? Hurt? No mate, it's all a haze now lol. I had a mad summer, then got a job full time on the door to try and repay some of the money I'd wasted, I've worked almost every weekend since It just doesn't appeal any more, I suppose I've seen too many annoying drunks
  15. I really can't remember! Haven't been drunk or even had more than 2 drinks since 1988 ............. The summer of love ............
  16. Measure her neck ................. I'll put a collar in the post for her
  17. Was it that funny the first time?
  18. I'll bet that was some life up there! Get a book written!
  19. Ears are a lot easier to remove than microchips. Happens in the greyhound world a fair bit, poor beggars... I should have said, I meant to get him done on the inside of his thigh, am sure I've seen it on here that someone had that done.
  20. Have been lucky and never had a dog stolen (they'd soon bring them back anyway! ) But, microchipping isn't foolproof or permanent, I couldn't believe how easily they are removed. I'll be looking for someone to tattoo my latest dog in a few months, he is chipped too, I think a tattoo would be more difficult to remove.
  21. 6 stone ............... Dabchick, is yours the jacket with sleeves then? I posted the pic of the waistcoat one because you said it was a gilet?
  22. That's a bargain, if I had any friends I'd have loved to have gone Especially as it looks like such a liberated sort of place!
  23. the business is doing fine but it is our sole income, and as we are also home educating the kids theres just not enough hours in the day.i did not start this post for sympathy iwas just sharing my dismay at a charity that prroclaims that it helps all and sundry in need with a sick animal only for them to turn an injured animal away.yes cash is tight as we have just had to spend £2000.00 on car repairs ,well actually £1000.00 for one garage to fcuk the job up and another for a good garage to put it right! and its been a long time since i did as little as 12hour day,or for that matter only 6
