I hope to get him to go to it , it will get his mind off things and as he is a dedicated lurcher man and a very good friend, I have never been to matts show but he tells me it's the best around -

On behalf of David Dickenson I would like to thank everyone for they're support today. The club members were shocked to hear the news of David's father passing in the early afternoon. David and his family stayed strong and finished out the show. I'm proud to announce the club raised 1000 for Wicklow cancer support group. We have a weekend off this weekend from showing but we will be down at the Minerock harriers show next weekend to show. It's one of the best shows in Ireland. Wicklow Lurcher terrier and whippet club are glad to announce that we have got North Wales Terrier & Lurcher Championship qualifier and the North Wales Best Entered Terrier qualifiers on the day finals to be held at the Conwy Valley Hunt show, Sunday 13th of July at Llanrwst, North Wales and a lot more qualifiers on the day including two master McGrath qualifiers

No for the simple reason there are no hound clubs in Wicklow we are having Lurcher terrier and whippet and gun dogs
