mine changed to the new way on its own (didnt like it)and then changed back to the old way. much better!

do you know what mark it is? i think mine is a mk5(but looks older!!) but its a funny gun cos the rear sight is at the end of the cylinder and the barrel isnt drilled for a rear sight... had these guns before and the rear sight was always on the barrel

yeah,the pin at the end of cylinder. but you have to take the strain off the spring cos the pin is recessed at the back for the rear of the spring guide to sit in. the meteor spring isnt under a lot of pressure. i managed to do mine without any special tools.

yeah,thats the main seal,the breach seal, just carefully prise it out taking care not to mark the metal, and press the new one into place! easy!

do you shoot woodies at a sensible range?with head shots?and are you hitting where your aiming?? if so,woodies should drop evey time!

im open minded on the subject. but just after my lad was born,i came in late one night,went upstairs and the smell of hairspray on the landing was overpowering.now,my lass doesnt use the stuff and i certainly dont but my nana used to do(liberally!!) and i was always "her favourite" so maybe she was just coming to have a look at her new greatgrandson?? who knows........ nice to think so though.

im not bankropt but im not working and ive got an 8 wk old bairn so our lass is obviously not working either and not much in the way of savings. hardship? i put a claim in for my charges months ago but the told me to wait til the test case has been seen....

apparently the banks still have to consider your claim for unfair charges if your in a position of hardship. has anyone tried this?

well i never would shoot one with an air rifle. i shot one ONCE. years and years ago when i was a kid. i was so proud of my shot and went bragging to my dad........... i learnt never to shoot one again with a rifle pretty fast!!

when i walk indoors,the smell of my young un makes me smile!(or retch,depending on the state of his nappy! :sick: )outdoors,the smell of wet fields does it for me,you know the smell,late at night or early morn,covered in dew.love that smell.builds the anticipation...........

its not to get started,ive shot air rifles for the best part of 15 yrs and own several. just thought they looked ok and would be a good hunting gun to not have to worry bout knocking it about when lamping etc.

at least im not on my own then!lol. i find it useful and interesting theres a lake near me i fish for carp and having a birds eye veiw gave me some new ideas and gave results. thankyou google!

if its in good nick,its well worth 40. but as the reply above says, just dont expect a full power hunting rifle!

are they any good? namely the xs19 and xs20 supergrades? been toying with the idea of getting one.... cheap,full power and not bad looks.apperently the xs20 is a copy of the hw95 or 90? ive heard both bad and good things bout the build quality and consistancy though anyone have any first hand experience of them?

i normally only like smooth coated dogs but that is one bonny looking dog mate! how old is he? that terrier is the spitting image of one of my mates terriers!
