It's a better x for the bunnys that's for sure. But If it were me I'd get a pup and bring it on. Train it how you want it not get something that someone else is binning and that could quite easily be untrained and have major bad habits. It's January now you get a pup now it'll be ready to start next season.
Looks quite a big lump and at only 9 months I ain't filled out yet. If it were me and you just wanted it for bunnys I'd be looking to get something with more sight hound in it pal. Collie whippet grey is what I have quick agile and intelligent just right for bunny bashing IMO
It's a bitch mate but cheers, no I haven't got any photos, I saw both of them though, mother was a very slim racey bitch and the father looked like a half cross to me big strong lad 25tts and 26tts. Yeah hoping she'll make a good allrounder
Well had her just over a week now and she's settling in well, been pumping the grub into her as she was a bit skinny but she's looking much better now. She's also grown an inch ! Now 14tts at 10 weeks should be a nice size.
My mates uncle owns a farm on the foothills of the beacons. Anyhow he rang up and squared it with him that we can pop down with the lurcher for a nights lamping whenever we want. My mate don't own a lurcher and never been, so unfortunately it'll be my dog only anyhow were gonna take a drive over soon. I know it's a huge area but does anyone else lamp around those ways. And if so is there many coneys up there ? Hoping we don't drive all the way there to blank
Got lamp on charge, gonna go check out so new land I got. Looks good so fingers crossed. Had a few blanks as of late so hopefully get her back on track tonight.
Cheers lads, think she's a little underweight at the moment as you can see ribs and hips, but I've got her on weetabix in morning scrambled egg at lunch and pasta beef mince and beta puppy on evening. Got some gain 28 coming too so fire some of that into her aswell.
So I've been told by a couple of people today that in a couple weeks time we are going to get the snow that's hit the states, anyone else heard this ? That's ALOT of snow if so
Cheers lads, yeah she seems to be settling in very nicely, only had her 24 hours and she was retrieving the wife's slipper 5 times on the trot for me. I think there maybe a slight bit more bull in her too judging by the father. Looked more like a half cross than a 1/3 to me.
Well fractions were never my strong point lol I would look at the sire and dam and if I liked what I saw and heard then a would think about giving a pup a shot.Good luck Johnny
Fair comment bud
