    Lol alot of Status dogs out there, I've worked bull type dogs alot because they never seem to fail but fatigued alot quicker, our KB just seemed to have more in the tank and as stated a bit loony

    Yea we got the same reaction when we took him out for his first few times a**holes sniggering, they weren't sniggering when their bullys couldn't get their fat necks far enough up the dig to reach the stuff and we had to put the KB in. How did she work in your eyes

    I will put some up tomorrow as I say he is dead but have a few pics of him somewhere, he wasn't terribly wee he stood 22 inches to shoulder not the normal crufts style crap

    We used him to pull quarry from digs if the sett was big enough we would let him run it, numerous occasions he would pull the quarry out of the hole he entered to alot of people's disbelief. And rabbiting with the ferrets he was a good dog, he was bought as a pup for a pet with no intentions of hunting him.but was very dog aggressive so we decided to channel his aggression on vermin would do as good a job as bull terriers only quicker but I have never seen another working kerry

    Yeah very good at vermin control should it have 4 legs or 2 legs lol

    Does anybody work with or seen a Kerry blue work, we had a worker died last year at age of 10 and are looking a new kerry but just wanted to see if anybody knows of anybody using them

    My father has a 'queen ann' Russell really smart wee dog though is a bit stocky for some holes. Excellent ground worker has been with us 10 years and puts alot of young guns to shame even yet.

    Had two brothers before one was great dog had him digging at a year very very hard , real grafter worked his way to whatever was in the hole the other one was a beast on top of ground but very lazy in the hole had to dig him out a few times to find no quarry as he was stuck and just didn't like to work to stuff.as tinytiger said great earth dog if you get a good one, my dogs were litter brothers

    I have seen very few borders ever working ,the ones that i have seen have been real good at working quarry, if they decide to work it will be when they are ready not whenever you think they are, the best wee bitch i had was border x Lakeland if she went to ground you were certain of a dig or bolt.

    Answer to your question is ,yes the ferret collar will work with 40ft locator but only at about 16ft give or take but still pinpoints bang on
