Im afraid we did not keep any records of times, the only record is those who took their certificates. I am glad you had a great time and enjoyed both the running and the long jump. -

ACES had a great day the day was in aid of charity so ACES donated the money taken at both the long jump and the running to the charities that were being supported by the show, once the running got off to a start it went really well, we had some really good times as well as some very entertaining group races, funny how competative people can be one they get going, lol. I enjoyed handing some lovely dogs on the day although my fave had to be the little white pup that ran near the end of the day, could have taken that home quite happily! Hope everyone had fun. -

Im pretty sure we are starting the running after the showing, this way you wont get all the show dogs concentrating on the lure, we are also doing long jump, that we will be running all day. The racing will be a minimum of 100 meters, but once we have pegged out the course and made sure we have enough netting we may get a longer run in, we do have to make sure we have enough stopping distance for the long dogs too of course so until we actually get there and put the netting up its really hard to say but it will be a minimum of 100 meters. -
ACES are looking forward to doing the lure racing at the open day.

Ed Reids Bull Breeds Spectacular
ghostlyease replied to ghostlyease's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
I would think that most people are able to make an informed decision to attend a show or event or not, any public show or event being attended by dogs has a chance of RSPCA presents, we all know that. Thank you for your concern, im sure it was well meant. I think everybody that went to the Bull Breed Spectacular was impressed by the turn out, the amount of dogs actually entering the events organised by Ed was amazing. I hope everyone that attended enjoyed the day and the space the ACES field provides us with to be able to put on such events. Results A - Frame competition -

Got a bit sidetracked, my boy ended up with a broken nose this evening, sometimes other human beings really make us realise why we love the dogs so much, little calmer now so.......... Ed and Noreen were down the field today checking things out, all is good. Cut the grass and the beautiful buttercups are still there, the field looks just stunning..................... Look forward to seeing anybody that does come tmrw. -

We shall be down the field tmrw cutting grass and stuff, Bill wants to stripe the 100 meter run, luv him, tell he is a pro, we shall be erecting the humongous gazebo in the holding area and one over the weight pull as well as an extra hexagonal one for shelter from the sun wind or rain for the burger bar, the boys will be staying down there the night so they can start work early Sunday, lol, only kidding, think its an excuse for a beer and shooting fest!!!! Soooooooooooooo excited, the biggest athletic dog show for Staffords & Bullbreeds in the UK so far this year, the only show where
