  4. Hello Victor, ACES (athletic canine enthusiast society) started back in late 2006 with a group of friends going around a local park doing some running, attending local shows and fairs together, out of that grew ACES as you see it now, we have our own land with facilities (limited but they are there, lol) and we run regular dog activity days throughout the year. The single most important thing I believe that has kept our club alive is the core runners are "real" friends, we enjoy each others company socially as well as the run days although I feel many of us see the days as social also, nor

All go for tomorrow, chicken curry and stew on the hob ready for tmrw, ground will be wet but not too bad as its been pretty dry all week, we have cover a 3 x 9 mtr marque in case of rain where the tea, coffee and food is. (15 mins drive south from Gatwick airport) 100 meter runs now electronically timed with our new timers. Long jump or A frame, although Aframe can be used throughout the day. There are other activities available for use throughout the day, Boomer ball play, Springpull, Mill. Off the top of my head the most common questions are... Q: Its all Staffords, can any dog attend? A: Yes any breed is welcome, its mostly Staffords because the soc
  8. Have never been before so couldnt compare it to what it was like in the past, expected so much more, I prefer the smaller events where more local produce is sold, this one was very commercial, inflated prices, still we did have a good time, just didnt spend much! We camped over by the terrier and lurcher rings and the nearest toilets were the 2 by the shooting, got up Sunday morning and the cheeky b****rds had dragged one of the 2 porta-loos off to place it under the string barrier for the shooting and put a sign on the other saying shooters only!!!! had to laugh................

Thank you so much to the two fellas that agreed to slip the dogs, much appreciated, Staffords dont have great recall once they are on the lure so we needed people down the end catching!! I do have pics of one of the show rings on the Sunday but unfortunately we missed most of the showing as we was shopping and then straight racing

Edited to add I did pass on your lovely comments, she is very passionate about what she does but the way things are in the wider world she finds audiences for her work like this few and far between.
