  1. Fast for 2 days, no food or tit bits at all, this is easier if your dog is used to at least 1 fast day a week, if not be ready for the very sad eyes............. I know people have used other methods but this is the only one I have used so recommend to others............ it has worked every time to my knowledge. Exercise as normal as long as that means the dog cant scavenge.
  2. Few more pics Gwain and Kate miss her terribly................. Please keep an eye out for her. Thank you
  3. I would have no idea how to make one (Ade made ours) but I know if you have a little car knowledge its not too hard as its main components are car parts. Try your dog on the flirt or exercise pole, we use carrier bags to half balls to coat fur for the dogs to chase........... These 2 pups had never done it before, took to it real easy, Ade is using a horse whip here with a bag tied to the end......
  4. Yeh thats me, got loads of pics of Knebworth........... The ACES forum is pretty open now so you can see the pics as a guest but not post go have a look. We have had some great days out. You have to click on the links to see the pics but you dont have to sign up.... £$%^&*()_)(.com/A_C_E_S/topic/218480/1
  5. Unlikely to be mange, common in Staffords as is a bald spot on the tail as they mature.............. 3 Staffords here, 2 have had the Stafford penny, neither had mange. Goes with age Im sure this is a wind up........................ Staffords heads never crack, the only developmental change when maturing is the muscles covering the skull get more pronounced, Staffords with heads that crack and lock jaws are a falacy promoted by some when it suits.
  6. Was ya camping? we was there Friday night to Sunday, we all had a great couple of days! A few pics I took over the days.
  7. My 11 year old got her hands on the camera so I thought id share some of the 300+ pics she took of these 2! Funniest thing these gals do is sawdust surf, they slide through underneath the sawdust, soooooo funny to watch, oh and they like to rough house with each other and my daughter. Apologise now for the photo overload......... Say hello to everyone Bitzy Keira playing a bit rough with Bitzy Bitzy giving it all back, I assure you all Bitzy was only playing, never once bit to hurt Boooo says Itzy Mmmmm something was nice

  11. Is there a link or contact details for TPMS, would like to have a look, info I can pass on. Im ok as I get what I want from my butcher, he just gives me what he would throw away so I get a nice mixture, im feeding 3 Staffords and 1 mastiff every other day for £5 a week, I often have left overs that I give away to friend. I googled it and found the details, lol............ should have done that in the first place, sorry. http://www.tpms.co.uk
  12. Another company a friend uses http://www.thedogfoodcompany.net/index.html
  13. Agree with Maxhardcore, start weaning pups when they show signs they are ready, normally by sliding over to mum bowl of food and trying to steal it. At this point I soak a good quality, high meat protein kibble, mix up an amount of animals milk, get a huge dried tub for about £15, blitz the squidgy kibble with the milk, feed the pups on that as well as raw, as the pups get older the milk is reduced and by the time the pups leave they are eating raw and partly soaked partly crunchy kibble, everyone I suppose has to find their own feet when it comes to feeding, do what works for you. 3 1/
  14. Iv always gone for one day raw one day good quality kibble, when getting your kibble for a pup, any dog really best to get one where the protein is meat sourced. When this little lad was with me he was on that combination and thrived. As did my Ripley, hes a big boy now. Chicken carcases, lamb necks & ribs, rabbit, try asking your butcher for the stuff he chucks, ifs its a small local shop then cant see them minding, watch em with the bones mind, if they gannet em down like mine you have to be on the ball.

  16. Thank you for the help and advice, nice to chat to you and your OH, things going pretty well at the mo, Bitzy is the funniness thing ever, she loves to sawdust surf, very quiet and loves nothing more than cuddles and burring into your clothes for a kip, Itzy is more lively, bit nippy, still not on par with Stafford baby nips so no dramas, lol, she has tried her hardest to trash the toys with little success so far coz zhe is too little, its so funny to watch. They will get a rest now as Keira has gone to school.
  17. Bargain off Ebay, I paid £20 for the hutch, a huge bag of sawdust, all the toys, the feeding dispenser & food (not that the little mites have touched the dry food yet) water bottles, cat litter & tray, well lets just say the whole set up. Bargain till I had to strap it to the top of a little car, that wasnt awful as the fella pretty much strapped it up for me, just over 3 miles took me 20 mins, me and the kids unloading a 7 1/2 foot hutch at the other end was pretty funny mind.............. As you can see we managed it, bruised and battered but we did it Added a pic of dinn
  18. Just to make myself clear to my daughter, we are not having a teeny a weeney or a yellow polka dot bikini!!! Have to say Keira is ecstatic with them, she only had to wait 4 years! Lets see if she likes them as much in a year when they are bringing home dinner..........
  19. Picked up my 2 today, I havnt had ferrets before so im learning still, did as much research as I could on the net but nothing beats practical experience and asking them that know, so I may be in here allot. Itzy on the right Bitzy on the left. One thing I did forget to ask was about worming, when do I need to do them? do I need to do them? can I use Panacure that I use for the dogs if I do need to worm them, I am feeding raw and dry.
  20. Thanks for your help and Itzy & Bitzy, daughter coming home count down, 35 mins and counting.............

  22. This post was supposed to be a positive one, its been turned into an anti bullbreed thread
  23. Are we really going to allow the press/media to give us our opinions on a breed as a whole? I would have thought that anybody using a forum like this would agree that mass labelling of anything isnt the way forward. Find bite stats on the web, see what breeds are more likely to bite their owners and those close, let alone strangers, many would be surprised at the results. People have to be responsible for any animal in their charge, it is not acceptable for dogs to bite people un-prevoked be it a Poodle or a Pitbull. The terrible incident that happened last year that led to the
  24. You picked up your dog and put it on your shoulders but the dog was going for your throat? you wouldnt think that if the dog wanted to get to your dog that it would still carry on doing so even if on your shoulders? I own a dog aggressive SBT, she is never off lead anywhere public, if dogs come up to her I pick her up to protect the dogs that are out of control, not doing as their owners ask to come away, there is no such thing as a bad dog or breed just bad and irresponsible owners. As dog owners (I also own a very submissive SBT) we must understand dogs as a whole, what some people
