Cheers bud. The crieffs are good and take some abuse through the brambles and that but jeeeeesus they get warm on a mild autumn/winters day lol

As the title suggests. Last season was my first season and I got myselft a pair of seeland criefs over trousers which to be fair have served me well as I've wore them for lamping fishing dog walks and everything in between and I got a pair of haix army boots which were alright. The kept my feet dry and the soles are still in tact but are starting to wear a fair bit now. I also got a deerhunter jacket which is alright but does wet thru a bit when it pisses down. So I'm looking to upgrade boots and jacket for definite and possibly the over trousers if anything lighter and on par with the crieffs

I'll leave the bark collar alone. He's getting better by the day just hope it stays that way lol. I've got a mortgage so no troubles with permission to have a dog. The council guy seemed to be more on my side which was a bonus. Hopefully it'll all blow over though. I think though from what he was saying is that it has to be such a extreme case for them to take any sort of action.

Aye you think that. It is a different neighbour by the way The bloke in question locked the dog in all night nearly every night of the week while he went over to his birds house and trust me listening to that dog howling all hours of the night when there was a new born baby in my house is a totally different story. so it's not a case of what goes around comes around he didn't give a shit either lol. Thanks for the feedback anyway I'll look into what rights I haveI wouldn't have put up with it either mate, I dunno if I'd have reported him though. I'd have had a word with him and progressed from

I got my first lurcher pup on Friday. He started off brilliant no whining or anything, after I gave him his last feed of the night and left him he started whining. It went in for no more than 30 minutes. The same happened every time I left him on Saturday and Sunday and Monday morning. Last night and this morning after a short walk I fed him and he was great and I didn't hear a thing. Now sometime yesterday he must of been getting pretty vocal because in the evening I had a call from the council dog warden about the noise. I was out at the time and he read my mrs the riot act prettying sayin

Couldn't agree more lol

Never fished for them on a lake but have done a lot on the river for them. It tends to quieten down a bit at this time of year for them. I'd be inclined to try smaller baits like hair rigged dead maggots. And a fine fishmeal groundbait. As a rule they are a greedy fish and will let there defence down when they get there heads down to feed. That's just my experience of them on a river. Although They could behave totally different in a un natural habitat like a lake

Come on someone there's some tidy gear there lol

Interesting read that was. Cheers

What gear are you interested in mate?
-
Got a selection of fishing gear (course, game and sea) I could swap or swap plus a bit of cash for a decent working 2nd hand lamp or lamp and battery if you got it. It'll be my first lamp as I'm just getting into it and getting a few bits and pieces together. I'm in South Wales so feel free to message me if you have anything. Thanks. Lewi

Thanks. The collie mix seems very popular. Is that purely for the intelligence?

Cheers for the feedback. I do intend on doing my homework. I got a few mates who are into it so will be joining them on a few outings to get more of a understanding of it before i dive in and get any old dog. i have been taking my weimaraner out on his walks and he loves chasing rabbits but hes just a bit to slow off the mark. Thanks again ppl
