  1. Year in year out this is a great, well attended show. This year was spoilt by the judge of the Lurchers overs. If you can’t be bothered th n do not judge full stop. Patted each dog on its head and didn’t look at anything else. You just need to look at how quickly the overs finished to know he had no idea.
  2. It's a shame this clashes with the Conwy Valley shiow as alot of the best dogs will be there.
  3. Good turnout which makes it even more of a pity that you didn't put any effort into finding a lurcher judge who at least had half an idea of what he was doing. Some of the comments he made in the ring to seasoned lurcher men and women were embarrassing Does he even own lurcher By the default the correct dogs probably got Champion and Reserve but next year get a respected judge and make the rings bigger.
  4. Who was the lurcher judge today? If you are going to have qualifiers and make people drive hours out of their way at least have somebody who looks like they are interested.
  5. Just looking at some pics of your dogs on an old thread, cracking dogs mate. Do you see many around now though?
  6. I am looking for a new pup and this cross seems to be hard to come by these days. If anybody knows of any planned litters could they please give me a shout.
  7. Gorgeous pup that, what is the exact breeding? Any more litters planned?
  8. is there an echo in here Technical issues my friend, apologies.
  9. I was going to start this as a new topic, but might as well put it in here. If I am after a new pup mid January onwards where and when do I start looking. Plenty available to go now from the usual places but ideally I want a litter in the next two or three weeks and finding that out is proving next to impossible. The fact that I have seen at least one litter now that looks ideal doesn't help. I guess I should just resist the tempatation to look until I am ready?

  11. Only been coming on here a short time but this is by far the best thread I have read on here. No points scoring or bickering just some fantastic pups and it is great to track the progress. I am looking for a new pup for early next year and had never considered a Saluki X but just might have changed my mind.
  12. Sorry that should read whippet x greyhound deerhound
  13. I have commented on this old thread as I losy my pure whippet x grey x deerhound of 18 years + a few weeks ago and would love another one if anybody has any ideas.
