The idea with carpet flaps to keep the draft out,it covers the whole opening so even if it does get wet it will only hold in place better.I'm pretty certain hel be snug as a bug,havnt seen owt of him since I did it.Are lass shouted him,the lazy little twat popped his head out and disappeared just as quick!

Well,could deffinatly feel the drop in temperature at half 6 this morning when I took the pups breakfast out to him.His little head juddering as he popped his head out the kennel,poor little sod I thought,and that's when I knew somet had to be done.Old bedding consisted of carpet off cuts and an old jumper, not brilliant for the sub zero temperatures that lay ahead.So I've now carpeted the floor and Walls,got him a double quilt folded it into 4 and banged it in,and put him a carpet flap over his opening.Will this be enough for him?has anyone got any ideas?

I seen that on that documentary on foxes last year bolster,when they did test on that black fox down south.But it's easy to give that explanation but what about black rabbits that pop up quite common or dutchy rabbits ( rabbits with White patches).It's more to do with genetics I think,than escapees.

What's to say the videos and pictures arnt pre-ban??? Where does lad mention dogs age??and what right have you got to say he's not the brightest?lads only advertising his pups which I wish him best on by way,and wants people to know their off good stuff....another case of a mr know it all,why don't you congratulate him,and try share some of ur knowledge with him?

Just out of curiosity just wondering has anyone ever come across a black fox? Or silver morph as they are known.Talking to a kid at work who goes rough shooting with his .12 bore and he reckons there's one on his permission at Bradford,I've no reason to doubt this fellow as he's a decent bloke,but would love the chance to see it.I have a few years ago been lucky enough to see a pure White fox on the estate where I grew up,which I was amazed to say the least.I watched in ore as this albino scurried up and down a local playing field following it's nose,some 60 foot in front of me and my ex at 3

To be honest mate the kid just said yorkies scruff and stupid of me really, I didn't ask who yorkie was.I spoke to him on the phone a few times (the lad who bred pups) and sussed that he new what he was on about,but in person it was one of them where I just wanted to get off,lol.what's it like your pals dog then?

I had a similar accident with my old dog diesel a deer x collie grey,except he collided with another dog,sadly He wasn't as fortunate and had to be put to sleep.The vet reckoned the virtibray had rubbed which had damaged his spinal chord,which was obvious as he had no control of his front right leg and his back left,oddley his nose wouldn't stop bleeding???.....wish you all best with your pups,they're obviously bred well and coming from a true working home.

I posted this before but for some reason I can't find it....but has anyone ever herd of John Bradford or yorkies scruff??? Just bought a saluki x grey pup and the kid assured me it's from some good stuff and threw them two names at me,but I've never herd of them ( only being a lamping lad).Pals have foxy Charlie lines and khan jihad but iv not herd of John Bradford or yorkies scruff?? Can anyone shed any light?

Yeh mate in my opinion 10months prime age for starting a young dog,but all depends on dogs mentality.Do you thinks it's mentally mature to have a go?? After all,all mature at different stages,and always remember " little but often" approach, that's way I do it anyway but each to there own I suppose...all best any way!!!
