The pic of the bitch with the bloody nose is Milly's dam Nan, taken not long after a we missed a bolter... I took photo's of her to show a mate, the truth is I wasn't that happy with her on that day as she wasn't quite right... she looked knackered after very little time in the ground...

Simonman, back in this thread I have explained what they work like and what they have been like in the past, Milly at the moment is right up and at em.. not giving an inch or just trying to kill and draw her quarry.. it's only her first season proper.. so she might mature into a more s

I had one years back.. full on Polecat caught in the middle of the road when he was about 6 weeks old... never really got round to handling him proper as he was very very bad tempered... one thing I will say about wild polecats is they are a dam site cleverer and quicker than a normal ferret... never bred from him... 18. I don't have the cmw, but a mmate of mine showed me an article written by Welsh hunter about bedlingtons I think it was back in Sept, anyway what he said in the article is the biggest load of shit that anyone dared put to print... reminded me of why I stopped having the rag about 10 years ago...
  19. A full length Drizabone must be one of the worst coats ever made impractical, lack of pockets and gets caught on barbed wire, hedges.... fashion victim.... but they went out of FASHION about 10 years ago.... Barbour border, lots of wax (or none coz i'm lazy) it has it's faults but as an all round coat it does me fine ... Oh! and if anyone from BARBOUR is reading this, I need a new one soon....
  20. ?? dunno.... I'll let into a lil secret... I'm colourblind and can't see blood, if there is any it may be from working the brambles as we didn't catch out... only ran a few about the cover...

I didn't realise til it got light how hard on their feet it was... I leaded them up to walk the road and noticed that their fur round their pinkies was all balled up and frozen, the lurcher had icicles on her mush...
  24. Feck me it was cold.... went out in the dark, lots of foxes about on top.. they were calling everywhere, 'cept in front of me on any open field... here's some pics... lurcher, scenery and a bit of terrier.... It started to get a bit lighter.....
