Went for an mooch on Wednesday had 6 in an hour. Very good night Dog ran very well not done much of this kind of hunting but every slip this dog caught Tring to get the lad hooked so he can perswade his mum for a lurcher as I have a Spanial and a Pointer misses has a F*C*ING Beagle so not much room at the Inn.

I got a bruno (second hand)now a cz I think got it cut down to the shortest legal limit and re threaded for sound moderater (barrell was well to long for on the quad or landy) and with the tripod on and plinking about can hit a 5p piece at 50-60 yards no jams so far just looked at my ticket and in 2yrs have put over 10,000 through it and never cleaned it yet (I was told you should'nt)

Been contacted today by the power company they are sending out a line engineer to take a look at the posts to insulate it. And due to the fact that a man from the Power company thretend to sue me for my bird "damaging the wire" who was'nt in a position to make these thret's they are offering me compensation NOT for my bird but for the way they handled the case. Well I'm sorry to be in the minority but I aint about to bend down and take it up the back box I have been in touch with Scotish power and they said it's just one of those thing it happens nearly every day be it with falconers birds or wild ones. Out flying my 9yr old male harris hawk today when he landed on an electricity post and got electricuted on phoning manweb and explaining the situation they said it was a regular occurance and said "it's just one of those things" Just wondering if any body has had this happen to them and if so what did they do about it and how far did they get?

I have got a springer that swallowed a fishing hook so bombed it to the vet's expecting to face a bill of about £300. Got there did an x-ray and said it's in the worst place a fish hook could be. And said that he was'nt willing to perform the operation and said we would have to go to a specialist vet an hour away I asked how much and he said about £1500 but would give them a ring an check he came back and said he got it a bit wrong and I'd be looking around £3000. Is it open to the public on the friday? or just if your staying over? There's nothing open shopping wise on the thursday and friday but but if your camping theres entertainment in the way of a bands in the campsite beer tent, but i can't remember weather it was thur or fri night or both!!!!!!!!!. (well there was last year).

Dont give up mate. I had a sakert that got loose with the swivel on and got him back a week later 30miles away with only one jessy on the woman that found him said it was sat on her roof for a few hour and called him down to the lawn with some COOKED chicken she actually cooked it esspecially any way she called the RSPCA and they called IBR and they called me. So never say never.

I have had a problem with a harris hawks leg but before comment on your situation I would take your bird to the vets because only with an x-ray can they tell whats going on. On my experiance I had a female Harris it was'nt mine i was looking after it ready for a breading project and it anklet broke and it could not have broken for more than 10 mins coz I'd just put her on the lawn so I replaced the anklet which was no problem because she was extreamly well maned and I did it while she was on the perch. Woke up next day and she was not on her perch but on the floor lying down as if on eggs so

Work in Airbus building the new A380 Double decker super Jumbo the work is shit but not bad pay, pays for all my hunting toys and leaves me with some beer tokens. Its shift work so one week on mornings finish a 1 so have the afternoon to go out then the next week its afternoons so i finish at 9 then go lamping till the early hours and have a lie in. Not that bad really

I'm back! Got some solvent it's called 009 ive soaked the barrell in it for 20mins then scrubbed it with a bronze brush then a patch then the brush then a patch untill the patch was clean Im gona soak it again later then give it another good reaming. But when i went to the shop i forgot my ticket so will have to go back and buy some ammo any recomendations other than the one mentioned in the other post. You know when i'm tring new ammo do i just take three shots check out the grouping then wait an hour and do the same with another brand and so on and see which produce the best grouping then
