  1. Hello Gruffalo, this is made 90% by hand with files, just to get rid of the deepest marks, I used my grinder. My grinder is a crappy 39,-€ grinder from Lidl but most important are good belts. Regards Nicolas

  5. Hello, after I could get hands on a wonderful hunting knife made by Stefan Mast from 12442 steel, I decided to test this steel, too. It's a tool steel with a 2% of tungsten and a 1.2% of carbon. It will get a high hardness (about 61HRC on my knives) and a fine, edge. Now I have some raw blades for blades from a 75mm up to 120mm This one will be the next and I will make one for myself, too Here, hot stamping my blades with my logo Regards Nicolas

  9. Nice blade and top blade finish! Actually I'm working on a stainless Böhler N690Co blade on request. It's 85mm long, 25mm wide and a <5mm thick. Soon I'll recieve some 1.2442 and 1.2519 for some super hard slicers Regards Nicolas

  11. Hello, this weenend I started on a new "Jäger" blade for a german hunter. He asked for some more belly on the blade and a not too upswept point (actually it's a 5mm under the spine). Now I have several blades ready to get marked and hardened. I put some protective patina on my personal EDC, as well... Regards Nicolas
