    I only fire on occasions mate spend majority of time cleaning haha Not 100% with air rifle, I only use to wipe down with ballistol oil externally and never had any issues with springers / pre-charged over the years. I only started getting set up after my centre fire arrived.

    I've only purchased it for a foot stool ? Got bore guide and cleaning rod on route too + every cleaning fluid known to man. Watch this space.

    Went to pick some ammo up yesterday and ended up coming away with some other bits and bobs as you do, wanted a cleaning Matt but spotted this Tipton gun Butler so thought I'd give it a try, very impressed, especially for price think it was approx £38, nice solid feel but light weight.

    Looking at getting a one piece rod next week, spotted a Park Hale for £19.99 or a Tetra for £35.99 can anyone recommend either, or any other brands ? Also the Parker hale rod is for .22 / .243, this might seem a stupid question, but will it be ok for my .22 Rimfire + .223 Centrefire ? When I was at shooting range gent was using a bore guide to insert the rod, can't seem to find one online, what's best place to pick one up for a Tikka .223 ? Thanks in advance

    I was on verge of getting a redfield last year, all reviews were very good mate. I ended up going for the nikon prostaff though, just for personal preference with rectile, they were both around the same price. Don't think you'll go wrong with redfield mate.

    One of my permissions has asked me to remove mink from his land, I've never had any dealings with them apart from one last year that was attacking a rabbit on the permission. Can anyone give me any advise on despatching these nasty little things ?

    Does anyone know what model scope this bushnell is, it come fitted on .22. I know it's 10x40, it's also got marked on bottom 33-1040m waterproof, JAPAN.

    Hi Mate, I asked same question a couple of month ago, I ended up going for 1 in 12 twist which can handle upto 55/60 grain perfect for foxing. I picked rifle up last week and tested 53grain V-Max. The 1-8 twist is special order only in uk and my local RFD spoke with GMK and said 1-12 is main one used for foxing etc and 1-8 for target shooters.     I had a price from a company in Nottingham, think it was "Lawrence precision" £595 for .223, bloody expensive piece of kit.

    Got out for an hour with the .22 this morning, not much about but managed to get my first rabbit with new gun, very impressed with this little thing, roll on next weekend when I visit one of my bigger permissions.
