  6. I forgot everyone here knows it all, gimps! Just my view of what ive seen! Hi All, This is a topic that I know will add fuel to the fire thats always burning on here! Now it drives me mad to think that some people knock down breeds and give them a bad name for e.g. bull two big and heavy I know some people will laugh and agree but this is not the case so as we are on bull xs well start off my experience with them, personal I am a fan of a racy bull x, but horses for courses the breed in general is not a top rabbiting or hare dog but they can still do it I believe for hard game
  7. Seriously if I was you I would give the old bovines a wide berth 'cause if you think you can deal with a 'situation' with a stick mate good luck to you...if you've a big hefty cow beast with a calf at foot...or if the wind's spooked them...or dog's drawn them to you and they are getting a bit belligerent a stick will be as much good as the proverbial 'tits on a bull...you may as well try and piss in its ear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck... i didnt say deal with the cow and calf with a stick or the bull i said just normal cattle..i have family who farm and people who dont know them are sca
  8. one question y hunt it wit a dog? i know cows with young calfs are dangerous and bulls are a nighmare but cattle i ways get a stick and herd them like the farm would nice and calm and keep the dog away cause thats what draws them on you ! so sending a dog to do it is a little silly if you ask me,if farmers seen it i dont think they would have you on there land for long , get a stick and dont be afraid to use it dealt with a lot of live stock and the only thing i never go any where newar is a horse they are the worst thing in the world to deal with !
