  1. I'm wanting more of an alrounder the whippet was bought as a ferreting dog as that was all I was interested in
  2. Don't get me wrong I love whippet he's full of fire. He does suffer from thin skin and does cut up easy. How do border collies differ from bearded in temperment
  3. The whippet is just 100mph and as a result ends up laid up a lot he tears easy
  4. I ferret stable blocks and paddocks so a fast dog is no good it would end up in disaster due to fencing everywhere the other land I ferret is large crop fields hedge rows. The land I lamp range large crop fields which the whippet is a little small his catch rate is low on them but my other permission is golf courses which he excels at
  5. There doesn't seem to be many bedy greys up very often. I'll just keep an eye out
  6. I'm in no rush at all thinking next spring. I work horse paddocks and stables where I ferret to large crop feilds the whippets spot on for te paddocks and stable blocks but not so good on the larger fields so looking for a dog with more height and thicker skin looking at a dog no bigger than 25ish and preffer rough coated but that's a visual prefferance
  7. I mostly ferret hedges but lamp large crop feilds ta all for your advice
  8. Its really a taller ferreting dog and lamping I have a whippett which is great nothing against hancock but would rather have a dog from working parents

Picked the pup I wanted then when the other half brought him home he looked blouted.
