    A wee broody/chick coop me and a good pal knocked up today! Just needs a lick of paint :-) Timber from reclaimed yard although newish, wire and tin second hand. Chuffed :-)

    Thanks for replying everyone :-) We have Tawny, Goshawk, Spar and Buzzards regularly around us. No cat's. Fox and Otter live here too. There was a family of 4 Stoat around us, they are up against it. Atb

    PETA are very good at releasing Mink into the countryside. Obviously have a great understanding of nature and the welfare of animals. Atb

    27 chicks is a big loss and a lot of work! Shame that, same happened to me but only a few. It's a gamble but if it pays off it's far easier. Sorry you lost the chicks after all the work. As Navek says, did you manage to raise more? Navek! That stag is looking good :-) Atb
