  1. Would love to find a better paid job but at present I can't seem to get my foot in the door anywhere so I'm taking these measures.
  2. It is with heavy heart that I must give up ferreting. I just simply don't have time. I'm working 6 days a week and have a new baby due in October so the one day I get off will either be spent trying to make a bit more money to keep the wolves from the door or just relaxing. So all my kit is up for sale Locators + collars Nets Spare batteries for collars And other sundries I also still have some stock for sale some really nice marked poleys a silver and albinos. There may be a hutch up for grabs Would like to sell the lot as a whole but may split for right price. For the whole lot
  3. Sorry hob was polecat My polecat Jill x albino hob has now had her kits as well this means that with the adults we now have 24 of the little gits. Some are goin to have to go.

  9. No, usually just first but on every one I do leave a bit of time between netting up and entering ferret,don't know why just habit

  11. Why am I having to sign in every time,even though I have the remember me box ticked. Up until new year it was all fine then after new year I have to do it every time? Not a big issue just wondering why?

  14. Posted this in the hawking section but thought might be good on here too as some of you guys with ferrets also use hawks. Posted Today, 11:36 AM Has anyone near faversham in Kent Lost a hawk?not sure on breed as not my thing but it's defo well handled as taking the dogs for a walk this morning it saw us and swooped down but wheeled back when it got close almost as if it recognised I wasn't its owner but it followed us home and has been sat in the tree out side the house since.if I try to get near enough to take a photo it just ups and leaves but returns after a while. It must be used to hunt

  16. The bag looks like a bait bag used when trotting on the rivers,probably for putting nets in so he's mobile and don't have to keep going back to kit? Maybe wrong but that's my best guess. I do same but stuff the poachers pocket on me jacket,I got one of them bags,may give that a try. Cheers

  19. Was reading 22 on the car this morning,plus the thermometer in the house has been on 19 for weeks and still hasn't kicked in. Aren't we supposed to catch the tail end of this storm next week?

Had a good morning out this morning with Jamie93 on his perm,good looking place,looks like it will hold a good few bunnys in a few weeks when the vegetation dies back.Had one today so not many but it was a good start. Only down side was my Jill managed to slip her collar and soppy bollocks forgot to turn it on so it turned out to be an expensive bunny. Never mind themselves the breaks we live and learn.
