  5. hi, and welcome, i spent 2 years in NZ had a ball, surfing, and fishing mainly, went out after pigs coramandle area. got a mate just left the uk today, on a 6 month trip to NZ.

  7. any thing to fix this ? scared the shit out of me. If it is a build up of lactic acid it basically means that the bitch has over exerted herself,make sure she is fit enough to do what you ask her to do.That's the best way to fix it,prevention is better than treatment. she is a fit dog out every day with two of my other lurchers and my mates terrier. they never stop. she does get very hyper in the van if she knows she's going lamping.

  9. i have a 15 month old beddie/greyhound x whippet, fit and very keen, took her lamping on saterday with one of her sisters, alternate runs 8/10 each, on the way home my dog started holding back on the slip tail and bum tucked in and was having trouble walking. i was obviously very worried and i started to carry her she didn't seem to be in any pain, at one point she shook quite strongly for 2/3 minuets, when i got her home i put her on her bed went to get here a drink and when i got back to her she was sat up cleaning her paws, almost as if nothing had happened, took her to the vets today for
  10. if your casting a new slab, give it a week to dry, if the dust that comes of it gets wet the chemical reaction WILL burn their feet.

  12. i agree with you, mine was first cross but racy, the rest of the litter were heaver and struggled. lucky with mine. good little dog, not with me any more.
  13. i used to have one, great little dog, ok if you get a racy type, to much collie tend to open up [bark, whine] when chasing. very intelligent and easy to train, and very active.

  16. i use a 3x12-44 mtc mamba great scope for long range day time use, my favorite lamping scope is the simmons WTC 1.5x5-20 fitted to theoben sirroco he. great for ratting to.
  17. went to non working home, but he picks up a few rabbits when out for a walk. i kept 2 bitchs from the litter, prey drive is very good, ready to work hard this season. wish i had kept this dog. but cant keep them all.

  20. i know the area and the rabbit population, you have nothing to prove to any one, it seems any one on this site has any thing positive to say just ends up getting loads of s*** just work your dogs have fun and F*** the rest.
  21. nasty f***ing shit barbed wire, why do people use it, it damages everything that comes into contact with it. including stock. this was one of my bitches a while back. two weeks right as rain, good luck with it.
  22. tried one of those, if she lifted her leg and streched her neck she could reach it, the legging worked well.
  23. i dont think aloe is recomended for open cuts, but one its granulated (scabbed) its ok.
