    Hob

Dont think it makes a difference, there is some stuff on google about having one done to early causing problems with Adrenal Gland's tho.
  11. i did have hes been done this week tho, shame really being a silver, good luck with your search tho bud.
  12. that sounds a bit odd, is the revisit going to cost you?, as they usually use dissolvable sutures and only advise going back if there is any problems?
  13. yeah no problems here either usually put them in warm too they love it. im actually looking for someone to supply me some at the mo.
  14. if the Hobs are in together castration as a vasectomy doesn't alter anything apart from fertility so they will fight.
  15. takes it out of them these ops lol sorry for bad pic was on phone
  16. Hello Lads and Lasses, Just wondering if anyone in the local area who shoots woodies would kindly supply me with steel shot pigeons? 4or5 a week, willing to give a few quid for them. if not steel shot ill have to pick out the lead. Pm or reply here many thanks. Thanks.
  17. fair point, i didnt mean clam wise i ment on a point of negligence are vets under a similar thing as doctors or not, sure if someones hob was rendered "useless" if the hob was only bought for covering in season jills(rendered useless then) a claim would be possibly taken, if that happened to me i would morethan likely skip the courts and ask the vets for jill jabs free of charge for the season. I dont know the law or the ethics on it just a thought.
  18. i had the same problems, i called one place for a price and the message on the machine when i got home was " castration price is ect ect" needless to say i didnt call back when i reiterated many times in the initial enquiry it was for a vasectomy lol. On another note. What would the actual legal standing be if you requested a vasectomy and got a castration? Personally i've never looked into it.
  19. interesting i might have to see if he could train my goldfish to swim
  20. found some rather interesting things here http://wildpro.twycrosszoo.org/S/00Man/VeterinaryTechniques/FerretVetIndTech/VasectomyFerret.htm explain the procedure
  21. I have just the 3 jills myself. A few mates are looking to use him but it looks as though mine will be used to test if the vet has done it right. Bottom line is if mine have litters i'm telling them anyway that the vet done it right and then laugh at them when theirs have their kits. you got me in stitches with that one pal
  22. they was starting to show themselves, wasn't fully down tho vet said that would be fine. i think they only say that because it makes the op easier.
