  1. No perfect for some of the holes we do, I wasn't convinced untill I used some.
  2. They can take them, but a whippetxgrey with that bit extra weight does it that bit easier mad-mouse But the question was would a whippet take them not a whippetX....
  3. Like MC said it's a personal thing I like short nets 18" but do keep a few five footers for big places. The big nets purse up I have never had a problem.
  4. 5/30 should be in them mate Castrol do a good one
  5. They will take them, I used to own an animal that loved the job but I found once he progressed from rabbits to fox he would really hammer bunnies afterwards.
  6. GTD 10W/40 would be ideal mate, 15/40 would be a touch thick when the engines cold and may cause start up wear. 15/40 might be ideal if your in a hotter place but not in this country mate. Millet Castrol GTX 10/40 is petrol engine oil mate. some diesels do have petrol engine oil in them but to put a diesel engine oil in, will not do any harm. Multifleet is a monograde engine oil which makes it suitable for both petrol and diesels. It would be o.k but the Castrol stuff is better!! not that I am biassed in any way
  7. Gettin old now Beagles.... have a good un mate.
  8. Won't shagg it you may get problems with gaskets leaking as petrol engine oils don't have anything in them to reduce the acid levels that diesel combustion engines produce which can end in gaskets being damaged. If the filters are iso spec then they are as good as the original equipment, they all only reduce particle levels down below the ISO 4406 (15/12) or NAS1638 (If they are American made) standard.
  9. As long as the dog is giving it his all and I am putting as much commitment into him as possible (it works both ways) I couldn't care how many he catches.
  10. For ferreting or terrier work I wouldn't leave home without mine, got used to carrying it and feel lost without it even with the locators we have I use the bar for making sure before digging.

    KENNELS

I used the bitumen roof sheets with the clear ones for the light and have had no problems for about five years now.
  12. Just make sure that your using diesel oil in your diesel engines fella's or you'll get problems. Not being arsey just people make the mistake all the time. Castrol GTX is a petrol engine oil and GTD is the diesel engine oil.
  13. My bars my oldest bit of kit it's about 50 year old weighs a bit but it doesn't bend no matter how much force you put on it. It was my grandads then my dads and now I use it seems starnge looking at really old black and white pics of my Grandad with the terriers tied to it knowing that its still being used for the purpose he made it for even now.
  14. Missed two bunnies in a night, don't worry about it if at the thirteen months your bitch catches half of what you run her on she's doing well. Two misses don't stress over that...
