    Apologies for bothering you with a genuine question. I didn't realise you were colour blind. Sorry i thought you were taking the piss mate..................I was about 100 yards from it today... They all look much of a muchness to me, but goshawks eyes are so red you can't miss them. Not strictly true. Gos eyes start yellow and go from that to an orange and then red later in life. A red eyed gos is a very mature bird.

    I bought a load of these to do some outdoor buildings in the garden. I have around 15 lengths at 8`-10` and various smaller off cuts. These arent new sheets, they came off a farm building. They are good for kennels etc tho. Buyer would need to collect - Ayrshire. Asking £.

    What will the game dealer pay? 30p maybe. If you shoot them with steel and offer them for sale to a falconer, you could get between 50p - 75p each.

    Overkill and JJM are you talking from experience, i doubt it. Either that are your a duff shot. Ive used 28g 7.5 on pigeons for the last 2 years, and are as good as, if not better than lead. Had dead pigeons 50 yards on a regular basis. JJM, you especially should try them, as you can feed them to your birds, best grub you can get. £41 for 250, cant beat it.

    Im with Grovsey, any HH will fail at corvids, unless your already on top of them when you slip. Not sporting, and a waste of time. If corvids are your main quarry, a falcon, female Per/Saker or Tribred ( Per x Gyr./Saker) will do the job without the need for a 10 foot slip and also gives a great flight.

    Foxes killed by hunt packs die Instantly,I am not going to get into this,your opinion is your opinon,I have held a firearm cert for 27 yr I have shot foxes with many calibers and yes its quick in the right hands,there in lays the problem,people can miss the vital spot, lame,use the wrong caliber,a multitude of problems can occur, but one thing I know for sure,them hounds dont laim, or use the wrong caliber,and if they miss theres no harm done,but as sure as eggs are eggs if its caught its dead,and for any one dicipline within the hunting community, to take the moral high ground in my opinion

    Rare 1st edition 1985. Dust cover a bit tatty, tho the book is in fair/good condition. Seen these at £110 for a 1st edition. Happy to let this go for £50 to reflect the condition. Great chance to own one of the best terrier books published. paypal + fees.
