  1. the stag to the left of the tyre is bred the same way but is obviously older and shows a lot more hen feathering
  2. not to sure of the age of them mate, they are fairly late bred , I have 3 of them bloodwing pyles they are actualy the nest mates of this bird that I was aking the STAG or PULLET question,

  4. im not to sure to be honest , iv just brought them in from a 20mtr x 8 mtr pen and there a bit wild , I have only had the small game for a year and im finding them a bit wild compared to my bigstuff ,,

  6. hatched this lad from some eggs I got from a fella over Ayrshire way , out of a nice wheaton fig hencock , this ones partly hen feathered but im hopeing he moults out a full henfeather next time.
  7. he was 13lb , he died shortly after that picture was taken, he crowed , beat his wings and expired , I was gutted

I have bred a 5 stags from my pyle hennies this year , 4 have came cock feathered as was the father to them , he moulted hen feathered ai his first year moult,, now this bird has me puzzled , I think hes a hen feather stag , he is still very young ,his comb a nd wattles are double the size of my adult hens and he appears to be growing two syclle feathers , STAG OR PULLET ???

  13. it was effca , English farmers fox control association ,, there were quite a few members, myself included , but it went quiet a few years back , heard neil had split up with his wife , don't know if there was any truth in it or not ,,

I was given this old picture a few years back , dated 1965 it reads - MIDGE champion terrier of the 7 fell packs , also written is "to jolly good friends " from all at ------- row , arle------ its been wet and faded so I cant make everything out , in the picture there are some show certificates ,, 1st prize midge , and on the next one is 2nd prize rocky , if this is of any sentimental value to anyone drop me a pm and I will get it to you.

  19. well I seem to have sorted the problem !!! I put 3 golf balls in the nest and 3 on the floor , she went mad for 35 mins pecking away at each one then gave up ,, I have collected the 3rd egg off her today ,, happy days
  20. personaly I would set her in a decent insulated shed and I wouldn't think a lamp would be needed ,, jmo , atb belucky
  21. look for a model that is fully automatic ,, ie self turning and adjusts the humidity automaticly
  22. it could well be the diet !!! its the muffed Hennie pullet iv just got recently so it may have been lacking something , its on good quality layers pellets now and grit , but its gona get a mustard egg for good measure.
