  2. were do you live DEERMAN? they say this tracking system is illegal to use in holland because of the frequency they run on dous onyone will notice when using it? otherwise i can only use it when i go to Germany and france. wont be a big problem because the fields are small here anyways
  3. tnx deerman were did you buy it? contacted several US sellers but are not shipping to holland
  4. if you buy the birdseye for your alpha i think you can download maps from the whole world with your computer i think like on google earthview
  5. i contacted several sellers in the us but they dont ship to europe, dous someone know where to order? was looking at some hounsmen forums and they say the alpha has a wider range as the astro. i contacted garmin in holland and asked them to order the alpha but they dont sell them because its not legal to use them in holland and some other countries because the radio frequency they are working on dont know this is different with the astro and if anybody will notice when using it
  6. i asked the same question here on the forum but also never really get a response. so is this system bought from us working in europe? heard it is working on a FM frequency or so, dont know if whe have the same frequency here?? is it possible to download topo maps of holland, Germany, france? how is your range DEERMAN? till how far can you track your dogs. and wich type of the garmin do you have, the alpha or the astro

  13. im glad iv had some pisitive reactions of lads that would like to take me out a few days some even without wanting anything back for it. i understand al of you that all of you are cautious. here in holland we already have much more rules then other places in europ im afraid in a few years hunting in holland is banned and we can only do a bit of pest control. in holland its illegal to work with lurchers, hunt after daylight with a lamp, work on badger, you cant run hounds here bacause the fields are to small. here in holland we have the "PvdD" that is that is trying to get a ban on evreythi
  14. fine, but how do i know your not an anti
  15. i dont understand you guys im coming with a good offer because i will be in ireland for business anyways what would be nicer than spending a few more days out there with some other people who like the same thing? and see someone else his dogs working. here in holland are not so many terriermen and because i cant and will not sell a jagd as a pet i offer a pup for a couple of euros to cover the cost i had on the pup and spending some time hunting with people who share the same passion there are plenty of lads here who spend hundreds of euro's to go on hunting holiday why not make someone else h
  16. im landing in dublin and going to ballyconnell, close to north ireland but we will drive a renthal car because we want to see a bit of ireland too.
  17. this winter im going to ireland on a business trip for a couple of days. but would like to go hunting over there. i am planning a litter of my jagds this winter and i thought some irish lads might be interesting in a jagd. we can trade a pup for 1 or 2 days hunting with some terriërs and or lurchers. im only asking a couple of euros for covering the price of the chip and vacciantion of the pup. pm me when you are interested.
  18. tnx. i am more into jags and pats but i use her a lot for bolting the foxes from places that are hard to dig because she is really small in the chest and comes back to me every 15 minutes. she also works well above ground.
  19. she is 9 months, easy to span she is very spoorloud and barks evrey breath when shes on to something. i can use a electric collar on her to keep her with me but she just keeps on running looking forward to see her on fox upcoming season.
