  3. a 3/4 bred would be ideal althought there are some 2nd 3rd 4th gen bull bred dogs out there... anything up to about 25" for foxes is ideal as they have the weight to draw... if you want an out an out draw dog then a 1/2 cross is ideal providing the bull is a racey type! ya mate a racey type i need in need it to be fast off slips and to cover a fox quick time
  4. ya thinking of 3/4 grey 1/4 bull as i said needs to run foxes by day off cover just i live ireland we can run lurcher on foxes !
  5. my story i have being hunting for years from shooting to digging you name it, i kept lurcher most of my life,always and collie crosses or abit of bull in them but never had a half bull/greyhound , no after digging to a new terrier last week the bitch i have failed to do her job right,she not going to suit me as she just not good enough for the job i need her to do , i seen some good bull x up the north, and have to say there the job,seen alot of dog with bull in them that can also do the job, so it time i got one !!!!anway i got one lined up but here what i need in a dog
  6. hi lads what the story with greyhound tranporters from ireland to england or the other way around , thinking of bring a dog in and sending one out ?? do anyone one have a number of one here in ireland ,and whats the cost to bring one across ,or any info on the matter that i need to know, thanks cheers sounder

  10. wish i could, but i would say to try and get a digging lad that would use his terrier that was collar up and dig to it, hope you get it , let us know how ye get on,cheers sounder

  16. hi lads being on the phone to scent the last few days,chatting about getting up again for a dig, so today was planned, he said he should be up by 9 but at 8 my phone rang ...well buddy i am out side your door anyway a mate richie was phoned to see was he right 5mins he said ... so as i dug my other dog yesterday i only had waterford for today i dug last sunday to a nice fox so he was in good form to go again, we were hopeing to get a dig to scents dogs but we tryed alot of earth but nothing at home, so off to a place we call hogan's fort!! where we said we let waterford run it as we parked
