  5. thanks gazelle, il get onto them today. cheers bearinator, very impressed with the forum
  6. thanks very much, i had a google when we got him but everyone i tried never got back in touch. ive bought some dvds off ebay and they are all of an eccentric american fella from the 70s
  7. thanks for that gazelle, like i say hes my first dog and i didnt think of it that way, just let him off the lead later on or early mornings. i am hoping to get him to a standard i could take him beating. and eventually out with me on the field
  8. skoda yeti 2.0tdi, a friend has one and swears by it. recently seen top gears review and they praised it
  9. they are decent enough, they dont have airbag suspension like the audi all road, which could bee seen as a plus regarding repair bills. but with any off roader no good unless the rubber is adequate for the terrain. they are really just a pumped up suspension, haldex diffed octavia on a road car chassis. the yeti is a more capable off roader which out performs the octavia, but i love my octavia.
  10. thank guys, no chris, he doesnt work but i would like to get him to at least a standard he could. he gets out for at least 2 hours a day, morning/night.
  11. i found in years gone by that dogs and pollock hounded me in the colder months with cod and codlin being few and far between. i may just be unlucky
  12. i bought a lab without papers but lots of ftc family history cheap for a family pet, hes my first dog and i think he may be capable but at present slightly "special"
