I did 3 seasons for the one in stocksfield name of the owner was mike but he has closed the rearing field down and is concentrating on the hatchery side of thing now best job I ever had 7 days a week hard graft but loved it wish I could get more work like that yis aidy

cheers for all the replies wish I had found out earlier what experienced net makers thought about hemp but am well into it now any sugestions what I could do with 30/40 ft of hemp net (apart from bin it lol ) iv got some spun poly from agouti day glow green it says its for purse nets would that be any good for long nets or could you recommend any thing once again thanks to every one who has gave me advice about my net making adventure which iam realy enjoying cheers aidy

how have you fixed those bands on BECAUSE I HAVE just done one for my lass looped through leather tabs and fixed back together back at the pouch it is my first attempt at a natural but I think it might be to heavy a pull for her

hi all just another question av ran out of hemp that am using for me long net is their any way to tell which one it is either 4or6 z coz I don't want to use two different twines on my net thanks a lot aidy
