    Funny thing is, they have a spaniel and a mastiff.. They PLAY with the fox!! But it's killed most if her chickens so wants rid of it, the hubby has a shotty but don't wanna kill it himself!! Lol.. I'd happily shoot it with his shotty if I was legally allowed!..

    I had a lovely meeting with the owner of a new permission, they said they had a lot of problems with Crows and a fox! so i went and had a look yesterday, i saw ONE crow!! lol.. but there were quite a few woodies! so thatll be nice, the only thing is its a 100mile round trip for me to MAYBE get the odd woodie! lol.. better than nothing though.. the only problem is i cant sort her Fox out.. and as i see it, thats her main problem.. Onwards and upwards... :-)

    Also, as Matley said, make sure you keep your head in the same position when taking the shots, you could be getting paralax error..

    Make aure the action is secure in the stock, and the bipod is secruly fitted to the stock.. make sure there is no movement between the three..

    So, looking around at the on-line shooting shops and while i was ordering some normal pellets i thought id have a look at some of the "Pest Control' pellets.. Now as far as im concerned, if you shoot anything in the right place with anny pellet its going to go down.. but is there REALLY any value in getting this type of pellet for ratting ect.. and theres quite a selection too!! Hollow point, hunter, hunter extreme.. Iv done a little ratting, id love to do lots more! but do you guys use this type of thing? and do you see much benefit? i can imagine theres a good argument for them, the

    I thought id share my pics of my first and second Rat kills.. this was shot near dusk, i used the obligatory Nutella & oil trick! lol.. it didnt attract them like i thought it would! but at least i managed one kill per night.. This one was a few days later, same bait but later in the evening, before i got this one i hadnt noticed two of the little monkies lapping up the bait due to the light fading fast, it wasnt until i looked through the scope that i noticed them! lol.. anyway, they scarpered before i got a shot off.. 20 mins later this little chap turned up, it
