I think its a bit easier to go along with the scottish hunts, since weve had the ban a while now. I went along to the renfrewshire meet and really enjoyed my day. It was amazing. Managed to talk to a nice couple who pointed a few things out, but we forgot to take the damn binoculars I got the blame of that for rushing hubby, ok so it was my fault he couldnt get out of bed in time lazy buggr think im hooked now though

That was all interesting reading Im trying to talk my lazy husband into getting out with the lamp and dogs and I want to go too so I may be able to teach him something tonight if I get him out

Im not sure how to go about it. I dont want to just turn up, just in case, I suppose hunts have to be really carefull now with all these antis :ph34r: :ph34r: I also am not sure where they meet. I would like to see how it is and maybe once I eventually get my own horse again ( if I speak nice to hubby, gaspode ) I could ride at them too, just not sure how it all goes. BTW was thinking of posting this on dogpages, to see what kind of response I get, what do you think? :11: :11:

I am waiting on a pup from one of these bitches, guy down scottish borders has them, dont know anything about the breeding, must ask him next time we get gabbing to him, just know he produces good working stock.

Hi im Shirl or Shirley and I am Gaspode,s other half. I love my dogs first, im not too into the hunting side myself, but like to hear all the stories from hubby and hunting friends and I have been out when the dogs have nearly got rabbits a few times and I find it exciting so I suppose im a bit of a closet hunter :ph34r: I did have horses many moons ago but ill health and lack of finances means I no longer go clopping round the country lanes. I always envied the hunting people, but my horses were really a pleasure and I was too faint hearted to go and try hunting myself and only ever
