  4. Here is 100ml and the 250ml. I have both but the 100ml will last a while for the ferrets as you only need 2/3 sprays and then rub it in. 100ml ----http://www.amazon.co.uk/Frontline-Spray-Small-100ml-Flea/dp/B00AO1W5ZI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1369913001&sr=8-1&keywords=frontline+spray 250ml---http://www.amazon.co.uk/MERIAL-004FLS-250ML-Frontline-Spray%252c-8-5/dp/B00BWTH5G0/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1369913024&sr=8-18&keywords=frontline+spray ***note the p+p on the 250ml as it comes from the US

    Rice?

Does anybody use rice in their mixes to bulk it out. Read a couple of recipes online with it in and some with it not?? At the minute I mix about 5lb beef/chicken mince, 5lb tripe, carrots and greens. Then add in wings, lamb bones, turkey necks that they get as well to chew on. This is for terriers only.
  6. Glad too hear that mate, seems the pressure got too much and they dumped them. Congrats mate
  7. Any chance of posting this, will be interested if you can?
  8. I will keep an eye and ear out for you mate but chances are its somebody you know or who has recently been too see them
  9. Cheers mate, looking forward to it. Are you going with yours?
  10. Johnny, so it's the Sunday and not the Monday then?
  11. Yeah came across him when i did a search, i have sent him a PM so hopefully he will get back in touch. Cheers for the replys mate
  12. Funnily enough mate, I'm going over on Monday. Looking forward to it and been told Monday is more prominent for the terriers so going to pop down, only 45 min from me
  13. After a new terrier to join my other dog and really like the look of the plummers. They seem to fit the bill for what I need, ratting, bushing, rabbiting etc. The only problem I am having is finding a good breeder, with good working lines around the North East or even further. Terriers are a fairly new thing for me, having only really got into them over the last 1/2 years and as a result don't really know who too avoid and who to too trust. I know there will be a few lads on here with plummers in particular and thought you might be able to point me in the right direction. Cheers Stretch
  14. Might pop down, only 45 minutes from me. Just have to decide what day to go. Is that right about the terriers being more prominent on the Monday??
  15. I just stick to the bulldog spade and the little roughneck(I think it's called that) perfect for the ground I ferret and both easy to carry, which is a must as we do a lot of walking on our permissions
  16. Went this morning, unfortunately we had ALOT of rain last night and everywhere is flooded, beck is 3ft up etc, dog had a sniff nothing there so came home lol. Will go back down next week and see what the craic is. Paulus, I did think about that as I came across water voles when searching the Internet for the innards of a rat burrow etc, definitely think its a rat, as these 2 holes are out in the open, are quite jagged looking and not neat like a water voles are supposed to be, I will definitely look closer next time I'm out, don't want to be digging up a voles habitat if that's what it is.
  17. I personally would leave the cat/dog meat alone, chicken carcasses, beef/chicken/lamb mince, rabbits, offal(liver, heart, lung), fish, pheasants, crows, magpies, squirrels, eggs(1 a week) anything meat wise really. Although i don't feed pork
  18. Stripes Mick, thats the thing, i don't know if these are the only 2 holes or if there is more on the beck side of the bank. Thinking back, when we went past and she showed an interest, she showed the signs she does when marking rabbits, nose right down the hole, tail wagging and after a while she starts a low crying if i don't do anything. After i had investigated we walked on, when we came back she sniffed again but showed no interest, which to me indicates either the rat had came out the holes we seen once we had gone or it had slipped out of the other side. Going to pop down first thin
  19. Cheers mate, will get it out tomorrow and have a see what pipe ill need. Guessing a metal pipe from the exhaust then attach the hose pipe to that
  20. Yeah both me and the dogs have been after rats, but it was in farm barns with the rats running around freely, as apposed to flushing them out of their burrows with a smoker etc. I have a strimmer motor here that i was going to try and use as a smoker but haven't got round to sorting it out yet, so might get that up and running tomorrow and then go out later on the night.
  21. Out with the terrier earlier and she marked what appears to be two rat holes. They were on the edge of a farmers field, that leads down to a beck. I could only see the two holes and they were about about 2 foot apart, as the vegetation is very thick I couldn't see anymore. Going to go back early in the morning with a spade and see if I can dig to it. What's the odds of these being the only holes? Having never gone after rats I don't have a clue what there burrows are like?
  22. Cheers wren, hopefully this rain keeps off. Both Saturday and Sunday the same or are there different things thereu?
  23. That's the one mate. Thanks very much
  24. Can anybody recommend a company/person who will be able to tune my rifle up, at an affordable price. Been searching the Internet but haven't found anything as of yet. I'm sure I've read on here about a bloke who does them, 'Tom/tony?? Cheers Stretch
