    A dog at 5/6 year old is in his prime. The reason you wait until then is because if you breed of a dog at 2yr old and rear pups from said dog that dogs only got at the most 1 full season under his belt even if that! Why would you breed off something that you don't know is a quality animal? You don't, so you wait until you know and then you go. Simples

    that's not even what I'm saying. Read what has been said. Lol. Not that you can't get them pregnant but the sperm count gets weaker so why stress the male for no reason? If you know what your doing you only need 3 ties. 1 every other day. And dog breeder that knows what there doing knows this.Trust me. If i was getting it that often, I wouldn't be stressed!
