    Acidosis can be severe as you know. JMO but it best your vet percribes the right treatment for the dog as there are many under laying problems that can cause the lactic acid build up and the proper treatment will determine your dogs recovery and also the dogs bodies ability to to get rid of the acid. It can cause failure to organs in the dogs body with dire conciquences hope all comes good for you ATB
