  1. sorry everyone, checked age theyre 19 weeks old, my bad...
  2. hes a cracker, nice thick tail, and a good strong front end! atb
  3. theyre a wolf in sheeps clothing, very MIS UNDERSTOOD. if you get one from the correct breeding, and one out of parents of a good height, and body type you will be ok, but the little ones with roached backs havent shon in my eyes, but thats my opinion, i like a whippet to stand 20" +, that way they are better for alrounding, they will try there hardest on ANYTHING you put infront of them, not like some lurchers. atb
  4. bigdaz other ferret was 2, and he passed straight by, so we thought, empty, lets give kit a run, and if it was a wind up why would i have pics... the kits fully grown to be fair...
  5. my first kit ive bred myself, hes no super ferret never will be, just shocked me that he had it in him to hold the rabbit in a block end
  6. im very proud of him, hes a very strong type, and from birth updating and comparing against other kits, him and his brothers and sister, have always been big and strong, at birth they had mothers milk obviously, but at 3/4 days old, i had a jill which had a phantom, so i put her in with them, so from 3 weeks to about 6/7 they had 2 jills milk, and at 7 week old they was fully weaned off to rabbit, chicken, tinned fish, and ferret biscuit.
  7. reddawn and the rest of you, i am genuinely serious, we already had a ferret in the set, and it came out, so we thought ok its empty, pop the 9 week kit in, next thing we thought oh hes on something, all the thumping kicked off, and we dug him out, he is straight in sets now, really kean. hes fully grown i would say, or hes gonna be a VERY BIG FERRET
  8. took my kit out to give him a run in some warrens, only small ones just to get him out of the hutch, hes a silver mitt hob, and already bigger than hes dad, he has been fed a couple of rabbits skinned, and i always tied them to the cage like lads on here suggested for strength, we released the lad into a warren with a locator on, he went in and worked the set, next thing he was staying one place lots of thumping, we dug down 2 foot, there was ferret holding a big buck rabbit by its head in a block end, i was over the moon how he had it held, and how he stayed with it in a block end, pics to fo

  10. you may never know, its a lurcher thats for sure
  11. seen it on that thing on ade in britain, seemed to be all over the set not very calm in my opinion, supposed to be a good allrounder tho, think it only has 1 ball dont it?
  12. silver grizzle is saluki greyhound, white with eye patches is saluki whippet

  14. i bought the silver grizzle dog from a lad on here, hes saluki greyhound based, been shaved out in that pic, hes a big wooly/ broken coated dog, only 9 month old

  17. cheers lads, and bracken is bulkier than his sire and is showing to be a good dog on the bigger game, the season will see mate!
  18. heres my 2 pups, i think theyre taking shape, but i see them every day so i dont see a difference haha, what yous think? storm on left is around 9 month, bracken on right is 13 1/2 month, cheers
  19. many lurcher pups have 'dropped ears' like a saluki when young, my saluki greyhound looked to have dropped ears, as he got to about4/5 month they perked back, i like how your all judging saying they dont know the breeding when yous dont know yourself............ they could of been fussing the pup, so the pup uses its ears, and then they get the pic, who knows
  20. you sound like a very genuine lad, do you sell kits or keep them back?

  22. revij i might go sedgefield maybe roxby, but its only if a can get a lift there like, when are you picking this ferret up mate?
