  9. Seems deerhound in the mix tends to produce calm easy going animals....but as has been said a well excercised dog is a content one. My little beddy whippet is by far the easiest going dog ive ever had....but I am comparing it to my terriers
  10. By easy I mean quiet in kennels and not prone to fighting, for me these come high on my list of positive traits around the place
  11. Fair play boys its interesting to hear youre views
  12. As the title says, which cross have you found the easiest to live with day to day and generally kennel. Obviously working ability is the main thing any of us look for but it this other side to my working dogs is up there. Atb

  15. I couldnt agree more bosun its a sad state of affairs
  16. Spot on Davie they really do my head in
  17. I use Facebook occasionally and I am not a member of any of the "hunting" groups on it, but I see pics etc that people on my friends list have liked from time to time. In my opinion most of these groups are helping to turn folk who arent even bothered about hunting against us all, this bit of a rant was sparked by a picture of a fox thatd had its head stamped on pushing its eyes out that some big hard man had posted. The worst thing is most of these pricks will no doubt move on to there next fad but not until theyve caused uneccecary damage.
  18. Really really nice pup bud. Atb
  19. I really think you should read what Bobby blackheart has written and follow that advice it will keep you out of the nick.
  20. To be fair I think its just in some folk to want to categorize animals. Does it matter what a dogs called no, but whats the point in a forum if new members cant post the questions they want to find answers to??
  21. As far as ive been told the village of Patterdale in Cumbria is in the area that the Lakeland terrier came from or at least a strain of them. The black dogs were bred by folk from other areas in the north of England like Frank Buck from Leyburn. I may be wrong but thats what id heard. Atb
  22. Hows the black one bred....right smart animal
