Really looking forward to this 1, never seen ferret racing before, and liking the kc whippet race, more shows need this. -
I think that the next heat should be waiting for when the current heat is finished they are already waiting to race, think it would speed it up a lot.

Really think usain bolt should be kept on a lead, she's a tricky wee one to keep up with. The missus has been thinking I've been of working, however I've been out with the ferrets and camo gear on lol I going to start a ferreting collection, Darrens a ferret horder VC collect orange spun poly nets, I feel a bit left out lol.

Cheers Darren. Top lad. One of his went tits up I think. Or was just playing up. But I'm sure I could lend one of his added any more ferrets to your collection? :L

Really took to it Darren. Got my camo gear and all ordered yesterday then going to get myself a finder and collar. None of ours were milky either. Can't wait to get mine out in september.

Nice one Whippet, I think a lot of people wouldn't have bothered so fair play to you. was a lovely wee silver kit, and plus was my first ferrets. thanks.

I got a kit about a week ago, and by looking on here, it seemed to have a calcium deficiency. so i decided to put up the symptoms of my ferret and what i did, so hopefully this will help folk out. the 1st sign i had was the wee kit was breathing really heavy, we short sharp breaths, couldnt really lift its neck to drink or eat, and its back legs were basically not moving. 1st of all i rushed out to try and get goats milk (turned out to be pretty hard to get) so ended up getting soya milk. the 1st few days i had to hold the kit over the milk so it could lick it up. I also fed it raw chi

i think i have the same problem with one of my kits i got last night, its just breathing heavy, and not really using its back legs, i think its Calcium deficiency, so got some goats milk last night and feeding it on raw chicken wings, looks a bit happier today, but going to get some kitten milk from pets at home and hopefully this will gets it on its feet. ATB with it mate
